19:36 I’m not gonna lie, those giant filing cabinets may be the most terrifying video game enemy I’ve ever seen! 😳 There’s just something about their exaggerated height, the heavy clunky way they move around, and the loud thumping sound they make that I find legitimately unnerving!
My friend and I LOVE Earthworm Jim. Sometimes we sing the cartoon theme, and even play the games. My introduction to Earthworm Jim was when I was a kid, i was at my brother’s friends house, and I was playing some gba games his friend owned. And I stumbled upon earthworm Jim. so I tried it out and got stuck in the first level. So I forgot about until years later, I found the game on a website. And so I tried it out, and the sequel and I still enjoy it to this day. Out of all the ports of the first 2 games, my favorite port of the first game is the sega cd version. And my favorite port of the sequel is the PlayStation version.
Now you miss the 90s. It’s one of the best and weirdest years back then. It was the year when every creator takes risk and don’t give a damn weather it is controversial or not. Nowadays people are sensitive babies who can’t take a joke and gets easily offended. Not to mention they see old things to be problematic. Heck Ren and Stimpy were way more gross than Earthworm Jim. There was an episode where they were eating and drinking puke of someone else’s mouth.
Nah, gross-out just got old. I like Rick & Morty because of how it parodies sci-fi tropes, not because Rick shits, burps, and farts. My dad does that, Rick ain't special.
I'm going to be 100% honest, I never heard of the 3rd game until this video as for the animated series, it's quire good with a decent intro song, 10/10 would recommend
Please React to AVGN chronologically confused videos of movie and video game titles, The zedla timeline, and Kingdom hearts Timeline, as well as metal gear, and rambo, Love your reactions.
After Earthworm Jim 1&2, the creator, Doug TenNapel, also made: The Neverhood - a cult classic point n click adventure game with claymation graphics Skullmonkeys - a sequel to the Neverhood in the form of a 2D platformer BoomBots - a mediocre battle arena game (the best parts are the claymation cutscenes and unlockable protagonist from The Neverhood) Armikrog - a spiritual successor to The Neverhood. A claymation adventure game.
First time I've heard of Earthworm Jim was through a classmate who had the GameBoy version of the first game. Then I played Clay Fighters 63 and a 3rd, I used to rent that game all the time (this was before Super Smash Bros.). It has some flaws, but in comparison it's still better than Earthworm Jim 3D (that one had potential, really sucks that it became so bad). If you want a good or at least a decent Earthworm Jim game on N64, stick with either Clay Fighters or its better version called Clay Fighters: Sculptor's Cut, which have the characters that were missing in the original game & the quality is more brighter, but that version is rare & pretty expensive. I loved the cartoon when I was a kid, but today I think it's okay, it has its moments. The puppy is actually Jim's sidekick, Pete the Puppy, & every time he gets hurt he turns into a hulking dog beast who always attacks Jim 😜 You can tell it's Dan Castellaneta because If I remember right he also voices Jim's evil doppelganger who is green & his voice is very similair to Krusty the Clown & MegaVolt from Darkwing Duck. Heh, I recognise Charlie Adler's voice on Professor Monkey For A Head 😂 I've played the 1st game on Genesis Mini & even though it's fun, I really need some practising 😜
Well this request was fast. I didn’t really played the Earthworm Jim games growing up. But I been aware of them. Can’t say I saw the show but was aware also. I was definitely curious because of the classic zany cartoon humor they were. And the really awesome graphics. I do enjoy absurdity. Lol And I never heard good things about that N64 3D game… He recently put out the making of AVGN. Which was his second video to kinda give an update how he recently make episodes. But it’s also a nice video explaining how to create entertainment content in general. I highly recommend.
Earthworm Jim I used have the cartoon on vhs and I own the game Sega earthworm Jim part one and two the game was freaking good I remember l playing clayfigher on N64 earthworm Jim was on it
Hi, I have a son who is your biggest fan, his name is Isaac (*RUclips handle is Death the Wolf). I wanted to thank you for being his friend as he is on the Autism spectrum and has experienced a lot of bullying. I wish there were more people like you in the world, Lola! Love from Australia ❤
Despite that Intestinal Distress level making me not want to talk about food right now, I have a request. You should react to the Food Theorists episode You Would HATE This 700 Year Old Meal (Medieval Times.)
Princess What's-Her-Name is really not that bad of a name when you compare it to her sister's name: The Evil Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt.
The bird's sound like their doing the Wilheim scream when screaming.

The 1990's was the golden era of cartoons hands down.

the snes version removes that intestinal distress level probably because the developers have the same reaction as how you react to the level design.
Moooooooo on to the next episode of angry video game cow nerd.

Earthworm Jim is awesome.
By the way, you should also check out, in December, the AVGN review of Lightspan Adventures.
So the 3rd game is where Jim sounds from Clayfighter 63 1/3 came from.
Reaction request: "The Addams Family NES Game" review by Nitro Rad. Though the video is 41 minutes long so I'm not sure if it's okay to request it.
