A family in my neighborhood had one of these growing up. Still had it when I graduated college in 2008. A 30 year old Accord will still outlast a $70k '24 Mercedes.
That generation, 85-89 saw the pinnacle of Accord design. It was a special car among a sea of blandness. The controversial flip-up headlights were bold and yet understated when retracted. A veritable coup in car design. Honda has not been able to do a repeat performance since.

That’s a beautiful car! I have a 1990 Honda Accord LX and it’s a Beige Sedan just like this one. I love seeing old Honda’s on the road!
