I do sometimes revisit fh4 just because of rocket bunny kits because i miss them they were one of my favourite bodykits in the game and its das to see them removed in fh5.

I feel like with everything you said and just a tad bit more ped population, it would really transform forza from “another racing game” to one of the most realistic racing games money can offer. Only thing I would add (which may be a bit stupid) would be turn signals for cruising with friends because it is kinda annoying to have to vocally tell everyone in ur convoy which way to turn. You should be able to indicate which way ur turning just like real life. I also heavily agree with bringing in more ordinary cars, maybe from the 90s or early 2000s. Cars that you wouldn’t typically expect to see in a racing game. I feel like adding more of these kinds cars will add so much more diversity to forza and make it so everyone is happy. The little kids will be happy because they can drive around in all the fastest cars in the game, but the real players will also be satisfied with the option to pick between regular and extreme cars.
Hell yes, regular cars are something i wanted in horizon since it's beginnings, not everything has to be "r" "gtr" "z" "m" or whatever highest trim. Where are shitty audis, nissans, mercedes', hyundais, chevrolets, volvos etc?
For Me, I don't only want to see Animated Paddles back in 6. I also want to See a Manual Gearbox with a lever that Moves into the Correct Slots, Including Correct Dog Leg First, and "Mirrored Shift" (20s and 30's) ,when needed, and if the Car has Exposed Linkage, I want to see the Linkage Moving! I want the Sequential Boxes to have an Animated Lever on all Cars with them, and with the "Punch Forward" for First Correctly Animated. I want to see Fully Animated Pedal Boxes with Heel and Toe, Double De Clutch, Central Throttle on some 20s and 30's Cars, with Driver Legs, Feet and even the Actual Pedals Themselves Animated. I want to see the Handbrake not only being Grabbed, but the Lever Animating, including the "Fly off" Button! , or the Console Button being pressed and Held if its Electric! or the Pedal being Stamped if its an Older US Car with a Foot Operated Parking Brake. I want to see WORKING Temperature, Pressure and (if in "simulation" Mode) Fuel Gauges! I want to see the Driver Slap the Horn when the Player uses the Horn. (Driver San Francisco had this on PS3!) AND ANIMATED PADDLES! with Older "Robotized" Boxes (Reventon as Example) , I even want to see the Driver "lift" from the Throttle Slightly when Changing Gear to Smooth the Shift if the Player is in "Automatic" , And have the Game Only Shift "Smooth" if the Player Lifts , as it will SLAM the Gear In with a Lurch if they Try and "Flat" Shift it on a "Robotized" Box when using "Manual" Options. Much more Immersive! Come on, the Madness Engine can do all that, and that is a Similar Age to Forzatech M, so there will be No Excuse for F-Tech not to do it!

Working Fuel Gauges could be a Problem, as although Fuel Consumption could be Bought in From Forza Motorsport, it would also Require On Map Petrol Stations (Which could be a Licensing Impossibility, there has to be some reason why Fuel Stations were removed from the Launched FH5 when they were in the Beta, as seen on some of Ericship 111's Videos thereof) as well as Animations for the Car being Refueled, this, as Playground will have a lot on their Plate working out how to do Open Worlds on the New Engine, making them work Efficiently, and seeing if they can get Blackshark AI Working to make the map *absolutely Massive* , that could well be something to wait for Horizon 7. As FH6, if it is F-Tech, will be the First Game Playground has made with 900 Degree Steering Wheel Animation rather than 90, they will have enough on their Plates working that out, I guess the Working "Horn Slap" animation can wait for Horizon 7. Lifting just before Flipping the Paddle is Featured in Madness Engine, so there is Precedent for the Animation, however, having the Physics change depending on Automatic or Manual, and on if the Player lifts or not, would be Quite Complicated, and may also be something to Trial and Perfect in Forza Motorsport and thing bring to Horizon 7 instead. Indeed, some of it may need to wait a Game or Two! Peace :)
If you go back to fh3 and go into first person, pull the handbrake and there will be an animation for it, and now it’s gone, the small things that make a game better get removed for some weird reason.

I think the problem with Forza is that they are focusing too much on size of the map and RAY TRACING, that we lose the plot of a new game. New GRAPHICS (as well as game engine) as well as a greater experience. Tbh I hate how everything is so isolated in FH5, we get it big map, however I barely remember FH4 nor even know FH5 fully. I never had FH3 and I know the map by watching RUclips. However FH4 was slightly increased from FH3 and I don’t even remember any major landmarks. We need a more simple, clustered map

I opened several ticket and they kept just marking resolved and closing them. They finally admitted they just weren't turning it back on. FH5, YOU SUCK! They got rid of stuff because they sold us a POS!

They’d never do that, both t10/playground make completely different games compared to rockstar. Plus rockstar is already working on their next grand theft auto game. I’d assume they have “all hands on deck” for GTA 6 so they’d have no time and no man power to collab.
Imo FH5 is the game where devs were the most lazy, last week i was cleaning my room and i found FH1 on cd. I’ve immediately put it to my XSX and I’ve realized how great that game was. FORZA what have happened? It’s not festival game anymore, it’s boring.
I believe a big reason for a lot of these feature removals is because the Xbox One is starting to really hold the newer games back!! It's time to go current-gen only so we can annually get some real improvements going forward.

A soft reboot is needed and they need to cut the amount of cars down from 500+ to around 200 so the can focus on the details and general accuracy. Cutting cars would allow them to add manufacture and aftermarket options to those that remain. So rim selection, aero parts, track packs, decals, seat options, thread colour, convertible options etc. There's just too many cars at the moment and no one uses a huge majority of the junk they've added anyway. 500+ cars, most with incorrect details, missing animations and models that were ported from Forza Motorsport 3.
I agree with you wholeheartedly but sadly devs won't ever downgrade the amount of cars because it's a very important number in a "car game" and investors only care about numbers and how good promotional posters look, not about the actual quality of the game. Bummer.
@@romanshagiev9205 They need to though. They're now selectively choosing which cars to fix because there's too many. So cars that have graphical glitches, sound and animation issues aren't being fixed. For example, the Mclaren 720s worked fine in Horizon 4. In Horizon 5 the brake lights don't light up in the correct manner, the paddle shift animation is gone and when applying the carbon fibre paint effect, the texture for the engine mesh is replaced with it. Even the DLC cars which are new to Forza are riddled with bugs.
There's been one TINY change made between H4 and H5 that really annoys me, I don't know if you'd call it a removal or not. In horizon 3-4 if you put your front wheels in full lock before entering photo mode they stayed in full lock, now in horizon 5 you can see them straighten out in the wee half second between pressing up and the photo mode loading. I know I can sort it by going into solo and taking my photos there but that doesn't help when I'm trying to take a photo with the squad. (It also fucks up mid drift photos, you get a break in the smoke and the car tries to straighten out)
If forza just done a driver, and made the pedestrians walk about everywhere and hand alot of vehicles (ai) the game would feel way more alive, I'll take driver over forza anyday
Another thing that I want from Horizon 4 is the little icon that showed you the current song playing on the radio. It was nifty if I wanted to look up a track a like. Now I have to scroll multiple times through the radio so I can find the track I like.
I really hope they bring these features back in the future, especially the flappy paddles...

Recycling a game engine is not lazy, it’s natural, you should not remake a new engine for every game. Every game studio reuses engines.

There's been one TINY change made between H4 and H5 that really annoys me, I don't know if you'd call it a removal or not. In horizon 3-4 if you put your front wheels in full lock before entering photo mode they stayed in full lock, now in horizon 5 you can see them straighten out in the wee half second between pressing up and the photo mode loading. I know I can sort it by going into solo and taking my photos there but that doesn't help when I'm trying to take a photo with the squad. (It also fucks up mid drift photos, you get a break in the smoke and the car tries to straighten out)

If forza just done a driver, and made the pedestrians walk about everywhere and hand alot of vehicles (ai) the game would feel way more alive, I'll take driver over forza anyday
Another thing that I want from Horizon 4 is the little icon that showed you the current song playing on the radio. It was nifty if I wanted to look up a track a like. Now I have to scroll multiple times through the radio so I can find the track I like.
