I read somewhere that she suffered from being typecast as a Carry On star.....and sadly, ironically, she only appeared in 9 of those films (plus the Christmas specials).

I think of her as the British Kristin Chenoweth of her time. Tiny, cute, great singing voice…and also very funny.
