I like Genesis version a bit better because of there is more a moral behind the song but I like this creative concept of the song. Least they tried to do something creative unlike some peopel who just re sing it in a poppy matter without any creative twist to it.
@Terremides Making a song with modified lyrics from a great hit and sampling a bassline from another great hit and merging it to a new hit does no make it bad or worthless ripoffs. You can consider it as tributes, although most tributes are more obviously so. I think Alcazar made a fairly good job of this song, but it's a bit too "pop" for my taste to listen to regularly.
