Now Ash and his friends will take their new journey into that universe, meeting new allies, encountering new enemies, and exploring new worlds they have never seen before This is _Pokemon: The Smash Journeys!_

He had a bulbasaur, charmander and squirtle but bulbasaur and squirtle never evolved. Charmander did eventually become charizard but not the X evolve version or whatever you call it. So still not accurate to the anime.
