I still see Tales from the Cryptkeeper in my country. It just aired on 'Kids Co' I think and it shows here about 6:30pm. I just got currently hooked on to the show and now I couldn't live a weekday (they just show it on weekdays) without watching it and everytime I don't watch it I get extremely bad nightmares! I'm off to scare myself some more. XD

Tales From The Crypt premiered on HBO, with edited reruns aired on Fox, and in syndicated reruns on the local stations of NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, UPN and The WB, while at the same time the series was still in production.
It was the animated series that haunted my childhood! The Mildred & Camille episodes were my favorites!
did anyone notice that in the cartoon episodes the crypt keeper wold always be in the episodes? like wen the crypt keeper is telling a story and hes in the story himself!I LOVE THE CRYPT KEEPER I LOVE HOW HE ACTS!!! SOO CUTE!
I remember I would get up in the middle of the night when I was about 8 years old. I would go into the basement where the tv was and I would watch this. (Tales from the crypt). Hmm...that might explain a lot. I later moved on to watching Tales from the cryptkeeper.
When I was a little kid watching this I would always close my eyes or go hide when ever he was about to pop up lol.
Havent heard this since i was a kid and immediately knew it was a Danny Elfman tune,

the live intro is definitely the best, though the second season cartoon intro isn't bad, its nice to see the vault keeper and the old witch included.
Freaked me out at first,
but it grew on me & i watched it.
the cartoon episode with the cryin ghost girl with her teddy bear really freaked me out! her mother scared the crap out of me!

My favorite were Dead Man Don't Jump, Hounted Mine and Growing Pains.Those were all from the second season but the intro from the first season was way better than the second.

Ok the first one reminds me so much of the I spy haunted house one. That one actually creeped me out a bit even though I'm 16. The other two remind me of halloween specials with happy friendly monsters that show up everywhere on halloween specials. They were fine.

Okay, I was not raised with the oldest version of this show and even I can tell the original intro was way creepier that the other version! I would have loved it!
The first cartoon was rather good, it's too bad I guess that at some point they ran out of stories because they were getting less scary and more silly as time went by.
This guy's fucking laugh, gave me nightmares as a kid, but I loved the fucking show. It's funny how much of a masochist I was at the age of 5

What the hell happened to our childhood? I remember my dad letting me stay up to watch this on the weekends and I would laugh at the Crypt Keeper and imitate his laugh. still damn good at it and scares the shit out of people

Back when i remember i only watched the Cartoon Version and it was only Verson sended on German Television. But i bought myself a DVD Box of the Real Life Version of TFTC . But of the Intro from i liked the Cartoon Version a little bit better because the Melody is not so slow as in the Real Life Version .

I think there are no more horror cartoons because Saturday morning cartoons on the major networks like (ABC, NBC, Fox) are about as abundant as dinosaurs. Also, I was born in 1986, I remember a lot of networks, like UPN, had cartoons on every weekday and Sundays at like 6:00 AM and also after school every week day. I think when Cartoon Network came into homes and became prominent most networks yanked there cartoon programming. There are still Sat morning cartoons, just not as much anymore.
