You cut it out of the package and turned it on…. That is not acceptable. If this is what you want to do and review tools then you need to put in more effort. You should have measured with the laser then measure to the same spot with a tape measure and compare. You should have shown how to use the tool and it’s different modes. You cut it out and turn it on…. Why even make a video? No offense I’m in full support of people wanting to do tool reviews but you’ve given us nothing of substance to help with purchasing or using the device.
