I can't even describe how this hit me... my Mom passed suddenly just over 6 months ago and sometimes I still feel like I just can't catch my breath
When I heard their voices together it hit hard 💜
The beginning of July will mark 4 years since I lost my godmother to cancer. This duet version of the song just broke me down on a first listen. Sitting here with tears rolling down my face, appreciating this beautiful song that helps me with my grief. We lost my son's father November 3, 2021. 2 weeks later, we lost my sister - who was like a mother to me - after a 9 year battle with metastatic breast cancer. 6 months later I had a vestibular schwannoma brain tumor removed. This song - all versions hit so much for us. From a message to my son from his dad, a message from my sister to me about not staying in grief, to me telling my son if anything happened to me to keep living a full and happy life.
