It’s really a better way to experience Half-Life altogether. This game holds a special place in my heart and the OST is truly indeed a masterpiece.
Honestly I feel they bloated the game alot with worthless crap, yeah sure it's got some good stuff but some of the areas and puzzles really did not need to be in, worst example of this being 'Interloper' as I feel it's the only level that is definitively worse in the remake I would still recommend it to people but it's not the messiah of videogames you make it out to be
@@quiteabizarreone6441 Fair enough Tbh, Interloper did get me confused with the puzzles, to the point that I had to pull up RUclips and search up gameplay on the chapter lmao But the music did make it up for me at least
@@peppermillers8361honest opinion: Play half life first, (half life 2 too maybe) and THEN black mesa. My opinion is that also Half Life has better gun play, and black mesa’s a bit stiff. But what makes up for it is the cool levels and stuff like the lobby battle
