The city of Puteaux is one of three towns which share the modern area of La Défense. If you come to Paris and to La Défense you can have a nice walk to the hill Le Mont Valérien, with the national for the French Resistance. By the tramway n°2 you can easily go to Saint-Cloud where you'll discover the great park. Unfortunately the imperial castle of Saint-Cloud, which was an official residence for Imperator Napoléon III and Princess Eugénie de Montijo was destroyed by a fire started by à bomb during the war of 1870-1871 with Germany (it is said that it was a bombing by French artillery, from Mont Valérien - very sad).

J'ai habité au 14 bd richard wallace de 1991 à 1996 avant de quitter la france définitivement, le pont de putaux l'esplanade de la mairie le CC les quatre temps, la gare de puteaux, j'ai même passé mon permis de conduire sur place en 1993 😢😢😢

Oups : at the foot of Mont Valérien hill, you can see the national memorial for the French Resistance (against nazi occupation 1939-1944).
