There is an update for the Maja Cardigan, which gives you the charts for the sleeve increases! I think it can only be accessed through a link on the Ravelry page. I started my Maja Cardigan recently and that update made the whole experience so much nicer!
I can't wait to see what you do this year. I'm trying to branch out to other crafts, too (even did quite a bit of cross stitch in the last couple months of 2023). The hood looks like it would be so useful, especially where I live (it's quite cold in the depth of winter - we recently had temperatures in the -35C range, made worse with the wind chill, and the hood would have been a nice additional layer)
I had the same thing happen with the sky hill hat, which I found interesting given that I don't generally struggle with gauge or have a larger than average head. Love watching your videos. :)
Love all the knits and colors. I love the Maja cardigan, though it would only be worn from 4am to 9am on the coldest days where I live 🤦🏻♀️. Have you tried blocking a hat on a balloon? It’s what I do and works great. Set the balloon on the mouth of a vase or something so it stays upright 👍
Wow, I actually thought you knit more, so it was pleasing to watch what you actually knit and also hear about what you haven’t worn as much. No tips for how to knit less, but I’m definitely trying knit more intentionally…things that need replacing in my wardrobe etc..spent loads of time whittling down my Ravelry queue in hopes of this…however I’ll always have a pair of socks on the needles 😂
knit more than that? blimey. i dont know how i would manage that! ha. i should whittle my queue down... its just too tempting to add projects on though!
oh gosh, i actually have NO idea what i have sewn in the last year- i am terrible at keeping notes. to be honest its probably just hinterland dresses and arenite pants.... and my quilt!
All of these projects are very nice! I especially like the eastwind jacket, it seems so cozy 😊 And the underwing mitts omg they are very beautiful 😍. That's also very interesting to see that you knit some socks with nylon free yarns (woolly mammoth especially). I'm starting to think about not using nylon for socks... What do you think about these kinds of yarn, do they last as long as yarn with nylon for socks? Thanks for this video!
thanks, for me they deffo dont last as long, i only wear my nylon free in the house in my slippers, they deffo need mending more though. but i do find them warmer.
Oooh I do so want to make the Eastman jacket ❤❤❤. I love my barn sweater from same book
It's a stunning book
