I made her & role-played with her a little bit, Her name is raccoon kit, she walks around all day. She tries to walk correctly with her front legs she’s determined she doesn’t care that her paws are cracky and in pain she keeps on walking occasionally taking breaks. She keeps trying to walk or be able to into some extent she doesn’t like her disability or want to be deadweight. Crazy thing to kit to worry about.

I was once in a roleplay and I was a deaf cat, and the person I was roleplaying with was a mute cat, so we decided that we would be able to translate through a 3rd cat who was a starclan spirit that could hear the mute cats thoughts, and tell the deaf cat what they said.

I watched two cats play as siamese twins (More commonly known as conjoined twins) who were attached at the hip. One was male, the other was female. They did it quite well, one of the twins even became the leader of the clan, so the brother had to drag his poor sister around to meetings, lol! I remember how the medicine cat went about choosing them as leader, too. Medicine cat found a feather that had been split mostly down the middle, but not completely and took it as a sign from StarClan for the twins to be the leader/leaders.

    Suggestions (Lethal Kit Conditions)
    • *Cleft Palate* (makes a hole appear between the kit's lower muzzle and mouth, making them unable to breathe. Kit dies at 1 moon old or younger)
    • *Polymelia* (the kit is born with more limbs, making it quite difficult to walk. Due to dehydration or starvation, the kit might die from 2 to 5 moons)
    • *Cyclopia* (makes both of the kit's eyes turn into one, making it quite difficult for them to see. Due to bacteria and vision complications, the kit might die at 4 moons old)
    • *Harlequin Ichthyosis* (makes the kit's skin become a hard shell, making it not able to breathe. Kit normally dies at 2 moons of age)
    How to make in editor?
*Cleft Palate* : Make a cat normally, then add a nose bridge and color it red/pink.
*Polymelia* : add in some clothes or markings that create extra layers and color them the same color as your cat.
*Cyclopia* : Give your cat tears and the inner mask. Color them a similar-ish color to your cat's eye color.
*Harlequin Ichthyosis* : Make your cat light gray to tan, add in some swirls and color them red and pink. Make your cat's nose the same color as its coat and make sure to add in grumpy eyes, as these cats usually don't ever open their eyes or have a nose at all.
*Keep in mind that these conditions are EXTREMELY rare, and when they happen, it's guaranteed for the kit to die. There are no documented cases of animals who survived these conditions.*
*You can search up these conditions, as they also happen with humans, sadly. But keep in mind images can disturb you a lot, especially harlequin. I do not recommend searching them up if you are a sensitive person.*

Congenital analgesia would be dangerous and I kinda like that. As the cat won't feel pain, it won't know how deep/deadly the wound would be. If it didn't go to the medicine cat in time, it would most likely die without knowing what the cause is. That's sad, yet a good plot line for a story.

10:57 I can agree with the declawing cause my grandmother declaws her cats, i feel bad but she only declaws them on the front which isnt good still but they arent aggressive or anything they just really hate there feet being touched im pretty sure that declawing your cat can cause severe trauma plus it just makes it hard for cats to climb, and playflight, it also causes them to have less traction when running and walking on smooth floors.

Adding on to other things people have said, declawing can cause pain when walking (permanently). It can make cats more likely to bite you as that’s the only way they feel they can protect themselves. Declawing involves removing part of the cat’s toe. It’s equivalent to cutting off the last knuckle on your finger. Declawing should never be done. If you’re worried about furniture or smth, there’s other methods.

hey, i know you don't mean anything bad by this, but oppositional defiant disorder isn't real. it's a fake disorder created in order to discredit aggressive trauma responses, labeling children that lash out because of their trauma as defiant and thus not worth listening to in any regard. most often it tends to strip these children of their autonomy and makes it difficult for them to be listened to, since even just slight criticisms they make will be labeled as defiance and thus ignored. as i said, i know you didnt mean any harm by this, but it IS harmful to perpetuate the idea that odd is real, seeing as its main purpose is to just slap a diagnosis on traumatized children and gloss over any signs that their "defiance" might actually be signs that they're struggling. please try to do more research next time. thank you

And yeah,i dont think children who lash out because of there trauma are “defiant” and “not worth listening to”,but i didnt name the disorder. Here’s what I can say about a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia in this world:
They may be able to become a warrior if they stay very close to the ground while hunting, so it may mean their balance is less likely to be put off, though it’s likely they may miss prey more than average.
If they can’t do that, they could possibly lead patrols or become a medicine cat, as a medicine cat would likely not be as affected by bad balance. They could still become an apprentice, it would just be harder. I love this series, and I think you’ve done pretty well on correcting mistakes and representing disability.
I have a declawed OC, and I love how you said it’s not a good practice for many reasons. My OC ran to the two legs after a particularly harsh battle, but ended up getting declawed. So he started biting as a way to protect himself, thus his warrior name was changed from Sharp’Claw to Sharp’Tooth. While he doesn’t typically hunt, he contributes in many other ways to the clan.

I have Cerebalar hyperplasia cats, here's a few pointers ^^
    • they fall/stumble a LOT, so use crouch sit/ front lay when falling as they usually fall like that
    • as kittens they can't walk/drink/eat easily, so pause while doing these actions with the emotes listed above
    • They're usually more self reliant and serious, let them learn to be independent while learning to do warrior/ medicine duties
    • they can climb and hunt, they may slip up, so make sure to add in a few stumbles
    • You'll probably learn to do walking on your own, as they naturally adapt to their wobbliness
    • Use words like "Wobble", "Stumble", "Tripped", ect
    • Be careful in wars, battles, patrols ect. Js because you can fight doesn't mean it'll be easy.
I in no way mean this in a rude way, just a few pointers! Feel free to use all these tips if ya want :D

There are many videos of wobbly kittys online, I think you could in theory pull it off pressing an and d when walking, maybe crouching more often than walking when trying get around without falling, but that last part can also just be indicated, as I’ve noticed they tend to walk around closer to the ground
Also, I had a cat who was declawed by his previous owner. He was extremely afraid of everyone in the house, and it took years for him to get used to us, and it took him even longer to let us touch his paws (gently). In other words, anxiety and trauma might be a result of declawing, and as an artist, ik how is to give OCs trauma

His caretakers before we adopted him said he would never be able to go outside, however since we have a dog door he managed, now we just let him, he’s a great hunter! As he brings in gardener snakes, and once a baby bird! ( he’s never killed a animal btw ) once he brought in a GAINT gardener snake! He has some trouble jumping up on counters, and if he’s going fast he does tend to trip, he’s never been injured because of his condition though :) so I’d say that cats with ch could be a warrior/app! :] thank you for including that! ❤️

I play a declawed cat, currently a med app, they aren’t incapable of warriors duty’s but become worn out easily, she picked up on herbs for going into the med den often, they are actually pretty good at fighting, more dangerous even cause they won’t go easy with claws and instead go straight for the teeth. Although she doesn’t see herself becoming an actual warrior since the requirements include endurance and stamina which she doesn’t possess. I generally rule it that whenever she is walking/trotting or crouching she’s walking with her whole foot not just her paws, she stumbles often, and spends more of her time in the den than her mentor, and she learns other skills to make up for where she lacks.

I often play as mute cats in WCUE because my main WARRIORS OC is a mute, she typically communicates through small sounds sibce mute people can still make noise.
She will huff and squeak and a few other sounds that I don't remember how go describe right now.
Though I guess she is a bit of a loner even if she lives in a clan and prefers to be alone most of the time so communication doesn't particularly bother her since the fee cats she is frequently around have learned how to read her body language anyways.

Some tips I would like to share:
I have my own cat with CH so I think that I can give some helpful tips! First, they are always wobbly. I mean always. They may often make quick movements, and when leaning in, they have a VERY wobbly head. Second, ik this may seem false, but trust me. They aren't that slow, my cat actually runs a lot. Third, they are actually active, not more than a normal cat, just more than you would expect. I'm not saying that they don't lay around for super long, because they do, I'm just saying that when they are up they are active. I would say that maybe, since CH is really encountered in WC, that they would become an app. Just my opinion, because they really wouldn't know much about it.
Just helpful tips, not criticizing on the video. If there is anything I missed, or said that wasn't true, please correct me! This cat I have is a bit more "special" than just having CH. (deaf and maybe something else.) So, I probably did add something in there that isn't true.

I have an oc that lost her laws as a kit. She had to run through burning grass to stay alive as a kit and once her paws began scarring her claws fell off. She began to resent her mother for leaving her in the fire and ran away to a barn. The barn had a few cats and one of them had a deformed claw and walked funny because of it. Moonlight (the oc) became kind of like their kit and took after their habits. She learnt to hunt with only her mouth and how to walk to avoid most pain. Her sister Bluewing (Friends oc) later found her and invited her back to their clan due to an illness. MoonLight went there since she learnt about herbs when she burnt her paws, and now she is a talented medicine cat who walks funny (I usually make her trot) and I also often make her gr__m her paws due to them itching!

I have an OC who has a condition called Spina Bifida
(I have this condition irl so I basically vented my troubles through this oc)
Spina Bifida in simple terms is where there’s a gap in your spine where nerves are being compressed or stretched.
In my face, it affects my walking, but only in one leg, so the limp option was really good for me.
And incontinence (not being able to control when you go to the bathroom)
(Obviously this is a little vile to roleplay so I don’t, but I hint towards it)
Learning disabilities, my OC never graduated to a warrior and stayed as an apprentice in camp helping out elders and pitching in when the med apprentice wasn’t there to help
Made me feel better about myself tbh :)

I don't think using sign language for deaf/mute would be very realistic since cats don't have thumbs. I would prefer lip reading or maybe the cats could communicate visually by drawing out what they're trying to say in the ground with their claws.

Gripping at my stomach means that my stomach hurts or I'm feeling nauseous. Sometimes I will even hold my stomach, gently hit it with my fist, or squeeze at it, too. My cousin and his partner, as well as their kids, use tapping on the ground or lower walls to get their cat's attention. He showed me this once a few years ago, with him tapping on the coffee table as she walked past, as he wanted to pat her. I've also been told that ShadowClan use a lot of "signs" while hunting and what not as they're a very stealth minded clan. Both these could be applied to deaf cat ocs, which I do, and it would be cool seeing other people play deaf cats too!!

I have a whole little story with house cats and clans after a natural disaster drove away the people. The leader is a declawed cat that invented a kind of prosthetic claws from sharp metal that attaches to the paw. After the disaster, the kps and strays from that little town gather and make their own clan, and once they create these metal claws and become the fiercest fighters, they are finally recognized as a clan and their borders become respected, because the metal claws are much more harmful then regular cat claws.
It kinda all started with a clan generator, and I rolled a clan I really liked, so I rolled some more to match.
    These Clans are:
RootClan, the Willing and Inventive. Aggressive former kittypets from a fallen twolegplace. New warriors are gifted enhanced metal claw attachments, making them the most skilled in battle. They will do anything to prove themselves. Deal with dogs easily, camp is a ruined stone tower, dens are the tunnels underneath.
BrushClan, the Sensitive and Reassuring. Quiet, comforting cats who are easily overstimulated and only wish the best for everyone, even cats from the other Clans. Not great fighters, good at making peace, often share what they have, very small territory due to cautious nature. They live in a large grove of cherry trees.
SunClan, the Amiable and Interesting. Strange cats with an accent, oftentimes very friendly. Their territory is a sparse-grassed prairie, and their camp is an oasis of sorts in the middle, During Leaf-Bare they bury themselves in sand to kept warm, and the nursery is a patch of very tall grass, nests are woven grass.
OxClan, the Distrustful and Soulless. A Clan of hostile, accusing cats, that tend to keep to themselves. They believe themselves superior, and often come off as haughty and rude. They live in a boggy area, close to a pond with fish and frogs. Their camp is a small cave system that has access to the pond, and can swim.
Maybe this wasn’t really the place to put all this, but idrc. Hope those who read it enjoy :3

I play a lot of disabled characters, anything from three-legged cats to deaf cats. At the moment I am only playing disabled cats because the WCUE community is extremely ablest. One of my favourite characters to play is paralyzed like Briarlight in the books and has become leader countless times, though I've had people attack me for having them in a position of power or even for the character being a warrior. The big thing I wish people would keep in mind about disabled ocs is that there is no reason they can't become Warriors, the role isn't only about hunting and fighting. They can find other areas that they are skilled in such as guarding the camp entrance or building dens. People often excuse ableism because of what was in the books, but the books did not handle disability well and should not be used as a reference point for disabled characters in Warriors.
