I see a national ban on abortion as being the greatest threat to the pro life cause. That is - if you acknowledge it is a federal issue, then it flips back and forth on federal grounds. Consider- there is no federal law against homicide committed under normal circumstances within a state. It's a state level crime. There isn't enough support nationwide to sustain a national ban, largely because the church has not been in the business of articulating this. The safest position is to strengthen states' sovereignty and right to regulate abortion - as the federal government itself is becoming more and more left-leaning. A federal abortion ban would be short lived, and would probably flip over to the opposite extreme within a decade if it were even possible to pass and enforce it. That is, I would be more in favor of 50 state abortion bans than one federal ban.
Thank you for landing where you did. I needed to be reminded that God’s mercies are new every morning as they are visually seen through His divine order. It led me to worship Him, trust Him and to be encouraged that “He is not silent.”
Thank you for the Briefing this morning. I don’t think this is complicated. Trump is doing everything he can to win those who as you said, ‘will decide who wins the race.’ “In wrath remember mercy.”
Dr. Mohler is a prophet, as we all are, if we are warning people of the "Writing on the Wall" in this age. We are a voice crying in the wilderness. (Isaiah 40) The Writing on the Wall, is that America will fall, unless God grants us Repentance, and a change of world view toward the order that God has established. Denying the right of life to the unborn is an abomination as is SSM and wildly permissive sexual practices. Wrath will come upon us if we persist. (Psalms 2:5) If you are truly in Christ, you are blessed, that God has called you out of the world. Make known the Gospel as much as you can.
If abortion passes in all or most of the 11 states in November, there will be no need for any potential GOP candidate to take a stand on a federal ban. What would be the point?
I disagree with your take on Trump’s abortion stance. I think he’s trying to expand the tent to include a lot more than just Christians. From a general Republican standpoint I don’t think it confuses the base but expands the base. It’s a decent strategy politically because Christians weren’t going to vote against Trump for taking that stance.
I recall during the debate when answering a question about abortion Trump said something like "you have to get elected..." and it seemed to me to mean that he wasn't giving his full opinion on the issue but rather was trying to be vague so he would get more votes. Not a bad strategy.

I agree bullying of any of the Presidential kids is uncalled for and wrong!
Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for the King James Bible, the perfect preserved words of God.

Why no comment on Tim Walz “the dad” who yanked Gus’s arm like he was an untrained dog?

Abortion is an offense against God.

Do not go with the multitude to do evil
A lot of crap as usual!
Good morning; are you willing to exegete (using specific examples) of what “crap as usual” you speak of?
Johnny that only seems to come from you, as usual.
If you do not like him, stop listening
