The concept of train sets had been in vogue in India for decades. Principle of EMU , suburban trains of metros, is similar.
Yes, and therefore one doesn’t understand the noise over these train sets
Vanda BHARAT can manage ghat sections the difference HP WILL MORE
Yes , this is ages old technology , I have been seeing them from my childhood .
Completely misleading caption. This is certainly not self-propulsion . It's an electric motor.
@@jkardez4794 I dint get your point.
This is an EMU technology train.
The EMU is known for its fastest acceleration. Vande Bharat is also the fastest train of india ❤
Agreed.
@@syedalihussain1401 A JI GANTA....RAIN WATER POURING INSIDE FROM THE ROOF..... SOON YOU WILL GET NEWS OF ELECTROCUTION AND DEATH OF PASSENGERS AND MODI WILL AGAIN SAY NEHRU IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT.
EMUs running on this technology is more than 144 years old and in India it is 98 years old. The only difference is that earlier they use to run on DC motors and now on AC motors helping the train to achieve higher speeds. As there was very little electrification on Indian Railways until twenty years ago, these electrified Multiple Unit trains called EMUs could not be run on long distance routes in the hinterland. Now almost every route is electrified and hence these trains can be run on major routes.
Olden days EMU. CANNOT MANAGE GHAT SECTIONS
@@manu7815 Yes because then the DC EMU had just 1500 volts but today AC EMU has 25000 volts.
@@SD-fk8bt but new ac EMU. MANAGE GHAT SECTIONS please ADVISE
@@manu7815 yes Mumbai Shirdi Vande Bharat via Kasara Ghat. Locals are not viable to run on Ghat section as turn around is longer and stations passengers are few.

Excellent presentation. The detailing, graphics and narration was also very good. Expecting more such videos from Let's Grow Up.
Yes what you said is right which I really missed The animation details were so good hope its also made in India.
Though India had been making EMUs for a long time, a modern trainset was never attempted. It was because of the gumption and chutzpah of Mr. Mani, the recently retired GM at ICF Chennai, that the first two sets were created in India itself (otherwise we are ever ready to import stuff). For this reason, Mr. Mani deserves a Padamshree at least.
Even today we are importing coaches from china. Many of the metro coaches are foreign made.even today. Why the ICF cannot meet the demand of the railways is beyond comprehension.
@@janami-dharmam Als Deutscher who also has close interests in Indien, I'm surprised to know this China angle. I reckon this is unacceptable given your country has so much talent and competence. The principal problem is lack of belief in funding towards the research and development.
What's ICF, Chennai?
Who is Herr Mani?
@@LinusWelt I agree that we do have considerable talent and expertise but that is overruled by bureaucracy and sycophancy. Kolkata metro has been importing coaches from China and the ICF products are low on quality and performance (not to talk about price). I do not understand why these government funded companies cannot compete with international products in quality and price.
@@LinusWelt ICF= integral Coach Factory; a very old facility where railway coaches (both old and new) are being made. Herr Mani= a former manager of the facility, they are essnetially political appointee and have very little operational freedom.

Thanks sir for the good Explanation iam working in LHB POWER CAR TECH Tirupati Depot SCR Guntakal division
Proud of you sir ! For working and helping Indian railways better 🤝🙏
excellent update
So, Vande Varats are not the first engineless trains, as claimed. The EMU-s had been there for a long time. VB-s are more fine tuned versions, right?
No body claimed that they were engineless in the first place- any daily illiterate commuter from one of the major metros would have known that from the beginning. At best they would have been the first engineless long distance trains.
The claims about the VB trains were about their speed and air travel-like facilities on board.
Very nicely made video caintaing good information.
Kindly advise on share the video to make such animated videos from creating various moving parts in videos...
Very good info
Excellent
Yes it is helpful
You left out the whole braking system , interestingly it has disel generator powered independant braking system , as a standard practice all emus has. If the power goes down how do you stop the train.
Yes, it is usefull
Thanks for information my uncle was worked perambur chennai i. C. F

If the power converter & Transformers are below the coach or occupies some space os Bogie??

Isn't there any regenerative breaking system?
Yes it has regenerative breaking system. It's generates 25-30% of its overall consumption based on the route and the demand requested by the loco pilot.
Is there any additional motors to take emergency time, in case the motor would repair

Edited from good to god? We have a chad over here.
what is the use of roof-mounted HIgh tension wire between first and last pantograph ?
In a 16-car formation, only two pantographs work at the same time, but all the transformers in the TC coach will work. Therefore, a roof-mounted HV link is provided
Good detailed information about Vadhe Bharat locomotive trains. Thanks for the same.
Plz make videos brake system
Yes
I couldn't understand whether the statement in 00:10 contradicts that i 00:38
In both cases, he is talking about EMU coaches, but in the first statement he is saying the latest Vande Bharat is the first in India, but I know the other local coaches he's talking about are much much older. And the speaker himself is saying that those local coaches don't need any separate locomotive. Then how can Vande Bharat be the first to not have locomotive?
Good to read the information mohan
The train has 4 pantographs but always 2 are active. Also unlike a local train the pantograph is placed on trailer coach and motor coaches are separate.
what about remaing 2 ?
@@vamshikrishna7945 Stand by in case of break down of once which are in use
Indian railways electric line itself is 25KV single phase traction system, also include in your details rectifier, inverter, igbt, pwm techniques
YES
No of Pantogharph means more friction between OHE And Pantogharph
This may wear it more regourously..
Your video is used in various news channel.. adding their logo in the video
A good presentation. Please inrease the voice volume and doubke-check spellings on your illustrations before the final upload... That ruins the experience a bit...
What about if there is a powercut or power failure? ?
yes
Such a nicely explained video. But can you please fix the typos and spelling mistakes and re-upload?
When did konkani railway get electrified?
Metro also same concept...
Infact it is distributed engine system. Main problem with this is if one engine fails, train may not stop, but inertia of the coaches will put extra load on other engines and if not detected in time will lead to drastic consequences. Just for this reason, no where distributed engine system driving one unit is not desirable.
yeah
Make in India⚙️🛠️🛠️
Vande Bharat express is an EMU with powerful traction motors 🥲
In the animation you have a lexical error. Pantograph is misspelt as Pnatograph.
Bharath railways are actual Pushpakvimaanaas,we will double the passenges to 3crores evry day by next year too without any doubt❤❤❤❤❤❤
We can say that it is just upgraded version of MEMU Trains.
And what about Air conditioning (AC) supply?
What about the metro?
It's very normal: suburban train model
SO I am guessing this is how Delhi metro also runs,
Then menu train ?
Narration at 2:25 has an error in referring to inverter as converter.
Well an inverter is always a converter, not the other way around.
Why this technique is not used in all express, passenger train.?
