What a soggy, but peaceful, slow saunter. Hmm, now your handle is getting longer. O.A.A.W.,P(peaceful), S(slow) S(sauntererer)lol😊 Nice lil discoveries, lit reindeers, Hobbit house in tree trunk, hedge of berries, and the stained window. Thank you my RUclips friend!. Until next time, God Bless and Take care. 🍁🇨🇦🍁
Ha-ha, that is a very good one that, Bruce, extra typing time needed for it too 😀. Glad you enjoyed the walk tho, certainly was plenty going on to eyeball. The next walk is far more soggier ☔. Hope to see you on the next one Bruce my YT buddy ;). All the best. OAAWPSS 😄
Ive just " discovered " your videos!! What a wonderful channel. My body may not be walking with you but my spirit certainly is!! Thank you so much for sharing with us, namaste
Nice! So smoothly filmed and well paced. Appreciate the remaining glimpses of Autumnal colors. Enjoyed the trees emptied of their leaves silhouetted against the gray sky as well. Beautiful homes along the way. Loved the warm glow of their floodlights. Great forest walk and church segment near the end. 🙌🏻
Thanks James :). Your feedback is always warmly appreciated. This one was quite hard to physically film as I was holding the camera in one hand and an umbrella in the other, by the end of the hour’s walk I was sure glad to rest my arms. Over the coming weeks you may notice a subtle improvement with the filming as I get to grips with this new camera as I am striving and working on it to get the footage looking even smoother:). Thank you so much for your continued support. All the best. OAAW
Hi, Eunice. It is lovely to hear from you. It seems that walking nice and slow is becoming a staple diet of this channel, which is a good thing as it gives more opportunity to take in the little details along the way as well as other benefits of walking slowly. Many thanks. OAAW
Well my OAAW friend, you did it again, you brought even more enchantment into my wonderful life!! These misty walks are mysterious & beautiful. We in the states are getting ready for our Thanksgiving holiday & I hope you know how thankful I am for the time you put in for us on these most wonderfu,l enchanting, beautiful walks!!! Thank you so much. 🤗💕🤗💕
Hi, Michele. It is really good to hear from you, I hope you had a pleasant weekend. I am very happy you enjoyed this walk. I really appreciate your kind words. Happy Thanksgiving to you for on Thursday. All the best. OAAW
I absolutely loved this video! I’m one of those (weird?) people who love cloudy, rainy days far more than sunny ones! Thank you for the joy you bring! ❤
Hi, Julie. It is lovely to hear from you. Well, if you are “weird” then I must be weird too because I also much prefer cloudy rainy days over sunny ones. I just find them so satisfyingly refreshing and calming and also I really love the look of a foreboding sky. Got some rainy village walks in the bag recently (as luck would have it :)). Thank you for being there so that I can bring you these walks, it really means a lot to me. All the best to you. OAAW
I couldn’t agree with you more! It makes me want to go for a chilly walk, then go home to the glow and warmth. I can’t wait to see more of your beautiful videos. I hope you have a wonderful week! ~ Julie
Hi, Niki. My pleasure. Ah OK, maybe it might vary from device to device on how noticeable it is. Not so long back someone else said a similar thing about the walks have a kind of meditative feel to them. Definitely a good thing :). All the best to you. OAAW
Hi. Thank you very much for your kind words. It is good to know that you are enjoying the walks, speaking of which...got plenty coming up in some very idyllic locations indeed. All the best to you.
Did I imagine it, because at 56.31, I thought I heard our host emit a wow, when the camera revealed the front of that glorious C17th house with the large casement windows and leaded lights. If so, can I second that wow.........!!
Beautiful. ❤ Such a wonderful, serene village. ❤🤗Thank you for taking us all on a walk with you, I absolutely revel in it. 🥰🤗 The sounds are marvelous ❤
"Chanson du matin, Op.15"; "3 Gymnopedies: I. Lent et douloureux"; "Ukiyo" and "Summer Night" by Riopy; "Sincere" and "Tristes" by Matteo Myderwyk; "Kinderszenen, Op.15:1"; "I Giorni" by Ludovico Einaudi. These are just some songs I pulled up on Spotify that suit this stroll, OAAW. What a refreshing scene and I bet it was invigorating. Thank you for taking us on your walk. Have a blessed day!
Hi, Michael. What a great choice of music! And with the beautiful music of Einaudi, you can't really go wrong, "Giorni" is my favourite peice. Most definitely invigorating :). Thanks for walking with me. Enjoy the rest of your day. OAAW
I normally just put these videos as background noise but the sounds on this one were so amazing and appealing i just HAD to watch it and omg it did not dissapoint 😍❤❤
One of my own favourite spots. Lovely to see it with this bluish light emerging slowly to the brighter light of day. If you hadn't mentioned the misting on the lens, I would have thought it some magic you had conjured up deliberately to add an almost dreamlike effect. I note that the ground is a little waterlogged. Inconvenient for you walking, but it creates that wonderful silver gleam which contrasts beautifully with the warm lighting here at 7:53. I love how the colours warm up throughout and, of course, I love that woody walk towards the church that I know so well. Beautiful... Thanks for posting a nice luxuriously long walk. I should recommend The Crown at Ampney Brook which has a really good chef. Sorry, nothing to do with your walk but when you find a pub with good food, it's tempting to spread the word. A joy to walk with you as always... Thanks for posting. I've just watched this and your Cheltenham Christmas Market video back to back (with a kettle break in between).
Hi, Jago. You absolutely summed this walk up perfectly (as always:)). Lately I am finding that I am starting the walks way before daylight properly breaks, which is thanks to a bigger sensor & 10 bit colour depth in this new camera. It is still early days with it and still need to finesse further with it, but it is getting there. You are right, it is is nice, the way it starts off with bluish light and then gradually gets a warmer colour as the walk progresses. Funny you should mention The Crown as originally that was where I intended to finish the walk but I got distracted & drawn back into the 'thumbnail house' for a second passing. I need to give the pub a special mention in the description. Thank you so very much for watching two walks in a row, your continued support is greatly appreciated. I am glad you enjoyed them both. All the best. OAAW
When I watch your videos I am always struck by the little things-the post box built into a wall, the random bench under a tree, the wreath laid at the base of a war memorial. It’s as if you are walking thru a movie set.
Hi, Arthur. It is good to hear from you. This is one of the many nice things about the Cotswolds, you never know what we will find as we walk and often it does feel just like a movie set. Plenty more interesting village walks on the way :). All the best to you. OAAW
Thank you for a beautiful walk. I found it to be very relaxing. This place is beautiful.
Dearest OAAW,
This walk was brilliant. I was in such a need of this, and did not know it! Thank you.
Hi, Laurie. It is really nice to hear from you. Glad this walk did the job for you. Many thanks. OAAW
Wonderfull. Love the Ampneys. Thanks once again for the.memory.
Good morning, Lyn. Thank you very much :). Enjoy your day & have a good weekend.
Beautiful. I bet this town will look very magical in the winter with snow on the ground and Christmas lights strung up!
Hi, Helen. It is good to hear from you. I can just imagine that, it really would be a beautiful sight to behold :). All the best to you.

I love your slow walks, and the way you take the time to stop, look around, so we can see as well. These places are so enchanting and beautiful!

Thank you for sharing. Didn't notice any blurriness. You really help me to balance and center. Your walks are like moving meditation.
