The Hub Buster will make easy work out of a stubborn wheel bearing hub assembly. This is an 08 Chevy Impala and the hub buster removed the wheel bearing/hub with ease. This tool will likely cut half the time out of replacing a stubborn wheel bearing hub assembly! Thanks for watching!

Very slick!! Jesus H, last time I changed one of these out I was hammering in different chisels and prybars just to separate it from the knuckle. Might have to invest in a Hub Buster!
I wish I had came across this tool years ago! I have another bearing to change so I'll post an update afterwards.
No question it works great, but I also saw video of a guy using a large pipe wrench on the flange and it did the same thing.
Yes sir made one of those for about 5 bucks had most of the materials at my shop saw the video out there just could'nt come terms on spending that kind of money used my fabricating skills made it less than one hour great Video it does work well.
I just used this tool to replace both rear hubs. Worked great
Dude I use mine so much now. Never though I would need one. Thanks again for the shout out!!
I use this tool. It is worth the money.
Thanks for the video.
Great tool I like it and thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!
Thanks make life diy easy
*_Awsome video man. Thank you so much for the shout out!_*
Couldn't have done it without ya!
ts6034 just watched the intro again. Hahahah
i would ask why is this in my reccomended but im staying here in case this helps me out later in life
Thanks for watching! Check out my other videos too!
Howd you get the wheel hub not to move? Every time I hit it it rolls over and goes to the bottom because its top heavy
Where did you get that thing. I am ordering me one right now. I've got my wheel bearing off finally. I could have been done with his project if I knew about this tool
There’s a link to it in the description of the video. It works great!
Got Dez nuts 😂
ts6034 ive change a few of these and they was very easy. but i live in oklahoma is everything seems easier
I'm jealous! Here in Michigan, everything corrodes and rusts horribly. I did a bearing on a Grand Am a few years back that almost required a steering knuckle replacement! The hub and knuckle just wouldn't separate!
@@Tomsfoolery. damn that sux btw i love your vids
Thanks!
ts6034 everything is so hard in Michigan. Mechanics should make double. It takes double the time!
@@EasyFixShaun There should at least be a separate labor time guide for RUST!
buy a 36" pipe wrench from harbor freight 30 bucks and a 10 or12lbs sledge and you have the same tool
Yeah $125.00 is a excessive price. Plus, it didn't work for me.
It's on Amazon now for around $90. Was torn between this and the harbor freight route. Choose this because of it's smaller size and because I found a video where the harbor freight setup didn't work.
👍
😁
What if the axle shaft stuck in the hub?
remove them both together and go to the press
I invested in the tool and have been using the hub buster for three hours and the hub has not moved.
The nuts are garbage. Three good hits the nuts stripped off.
My 04 Saturn Vue isn't giving up it's hub yet.
I’ve been collecting old lug nuts because I also found the nuts it came with were soft. Using lug nuts works so much better.
@@Tomsfoolery. the hub Buster failed to even slightly move the hub.
I got the top bolt out of the strut mount but the bottom doesn't budge.... I wailed on it with a 10# sledgehammer and still nothing other than mess up the nut and threads.
This car is a first that everything goes wrong.
Well I wouldn’t put the blame on the tool. I’ve used it hundreds of times with success and can assure you, in a normal situation the tool makes the job slightly easier. Sounds like your vehicle is one of those one in a million cases. I once had a Pontiac Grand Am that I almost had to replace the steering knuckle because the hub would NOT come out! Hands down the most difficult one I’ve ever done.
@@Tomsfoolery. not blaming the tool, it just didn't work for this occasion. New York winter's are horrible with all the salt.
I'm trying to take the knuckle off and only freed one of the two bolts in the strut.
Most video's showed good luck with it so I thought I'd try it. Watched two videos that it didn't work for them as well. Works for some, doesn't work for others.
It's just my luck.
BIG BLACK TOOL
your fab buddy can make one for the price of a favor
This tool does not work if your trying to get the rear bearing off a new body style explorer and taurus if you live in the salt belt.
if your woman sees that laugh
you have damaged the bolts and its will have to be replaced, IMHO
What bolts have I damaged?
@@Tomsfoolery. , the bolts securing the wheel disc. Excuse my English. It's not native for me.
@@Tomsfoolery. when hitting the tool, the bolts are lengthened and riveted., IMHO
The wheel studs? New ones come on the new hub assembly. They don’t get reused.
No home drama dude you turned me off your video
