This is one of those songs that is so simple and perfect and you think, “I could have written this song” but there’s no way you could. Alright. I’m watching this again
Noah Gundersen, Peter Bradley Adams, Ruth Moody, Ray LaMontagne, Freya Ridings, Joshua Hyslop, Gregory Alan Isakov, Hollow Coves, The Paper Kites, The Wailin' Jennys, Rose Cousins, Cory Chisel, Eva Cassidy, Jets Overhead, Patty Griffin, Amos Lee, Bon Iver, Loreena McKennit, City and Colour = Life is GOOD!!
I remember listening to his older albums when I went through depression, and damn were they deep and sad, almost lost the will to live. But then the new album dropped in, and thank god it's different, it helped me a lot to overcome my depression. Thank you, Noah, for being to talented and helpful although I've never met you and probably never will. One of the most underrated musicians ever, imo.
Август Студенов I’m glad you have found music that can help you process through your depression. I definitely understand that. I would recommend Bethel Music, they have a lot of uplifting songs that may encourage you ❤️
I know, old comment, but I managed to score tickets to one of his super-tiny (300-ish audience?) shows here in Denver later in the year, and I'm psyched already!
Goosebumps. Noah is amazing. This is real talent. Such a badass songwriter. Such deep songs. Thank god i watched Sons. Heard «day is gone» i was lost. Pure art.
Incredibly talented person, incredible group! For a long time I have not seen so much sincerity in the lyrics and in music! Thanks you! With love from Russia!
Nobody compares to Noah. My fave of all time. I love his old stuff and his new stuff. I could relate to his old stuff but it didn't depress me, it helped me. And his new stuff is the bomb! So much love for him ❤ 🆒️🆒️🆒️🆒️🆒️🆒️🆒️🆒️🆒️
Greatest artist ive ever discovered, but I really really hope you get your sister back in the game and start playing folk southern bluegrass style. miss the old sound man. Don't change for fame. You know where the big contracts will get you in the long run.
Brett Watson Noah has always enjoyed heavy music... don’t believe the nonsense of him selling our or whatever. He isn’t on a big label or making big bucks. He tours constantly. That’s how he survives. He is an ever changing human, like the rest of us, and his music reflects that. He still makes songs that are similar to his first couple albums. Don’t knock him for diversifying his songwriting. I’m sure he is just being true to himself where he is at in his own life.
+Denesh Devraj. Im sure hes doing what he wants and I don't know what Im talking about. Its really not my place to make assumptions. This is good music its just sounding mainstream conformity compared to his older stuff. But who knows he may not be who my imagination has made him out to be. never met him. I do hope he brings back more of the old sound. personal preference.
Brett Watson My favorite Noah tracks on his last two albums are Blossom, Fear & Loathing, and Bad Desire...so I maybe lean more towards what you prefer. That being said, I believe Noah grew up playing in heavy bands, now has a side project called Young in the City, and has had a lot of personal change over the last couple years between his early recording and his last two albums... I believe he will always make those singer songwriter tracks that his older solo material consists of, but he probably also enjoys having the mix of heavy & light. I don’t see his rock jams as main stream conforming...who else makes songs like that? He doesn’t make music for the radio...if anything, it’s so he can jam out live and have fun.
By far one of the greatest highly underrated artists of our time
Unfortunately most people don't like real music that has heart.

This performance of this song even tops the collaboration he did with Phoebe Bridgers. Always amazed at how talented the Gundersen family is!

Crazy this guy has been around Seattle so long and I am just now hearing of him? WTF world!
Nothing compares to Noah live
Yes, he sure connects with his audience.

One of my favorite songs of all time
Noah is the type of artist that I could see live several times and every time, it's unique and magical. I can't see that about every artist.
Great voice. One of the best male voices I’ve heard in a long time. Baritone might be better than tenor. Best of luck Noah..
Keep coming back to this. Such a powerful song and Noah sings it so powerfully.
I was so lucky to be there for this performance
I need a video like this of the entire set, it's fucking flawless
Incredible songwriting and flawless performance! Noah is amazing!
I'm glad you exist, Noah
You’ve always been able to set me free.
