- Pidgeot is the only Pokemon in Pokémon GO with the charged move, Feather Dance, which made it too overpowered as it caused a glitch in the game to happen when the move is used. Now that it is fixed, it has received a nerf to the move, but still very strong.

Pidgeot was banned, because its Feather Dance was lagging and crashing the game and was understanding as quit
@10:32 that one wasn't you, Brandon. That one was most certainly artificial lag because only you were being affected by interruptions (otherwise the other player wouldn't have been able to fire off two moves in a row that quickly, as they'd also be way overcharged.) Connection to a match works both ways unless someone's forcing connection lapses.
10:20 This is the reason why I don't play high level GBL anymore. Too much heart ache. If the lag isn't enough, my game has been crashing 4-5 times a day lately. Started after the last update. In GBL, I'm just finishing my 5 sets a day and quick lose most of them.

I have a 100% pidgeot from 2016 back when you had to manually check every pokemon's IV's in a calculator before the coaches told you anything. Would take like 1-2 hours checking all your catches for the day.

I’m a returning player & noob and I hate pvp. Opponents always manage to get charged moves off when they basically have 0 hp then feint right afterwards, costing me a shield or some damage. Or it lags/crashes…
Just a small question, did you feel your device heating in the 2 consecutive games when you lagged? I have noticed that whenever I lag (starting game later than my opponent, unable to fire off moves, etc.) my device is hotter than usual. But again I can't say much, s my game is lagging very bad since the past 2 days, crashing in middle of PvP battles, grunt battles, raids; unable to move the map; my character is standing still while I am walking; losing CMP ties and not getting the option to use my charge attack after my opponent is done; and starting match with only 1 shield in GBL. But many times, the lag ends if I let my device rest for an hour or two before battling again.

In PvP it depends on the pokémon if shadow or purified is better.

i always reset the game every 1 or 2 battles, after the 2nd battle you will get lag for sure it is so frustrating niantic sucks
I have a 2016 lucky 98% pidgeot. Its at 477 cp, thinking about elite tm for it, using it for the jungle cup, and than building it for UL. Is it worth the elite tm tho?

From what I gathered no. The current exploit is regarding charge moves... they would hold the screen back before a charge too pause the game while keeping the clock running basically. This method was successful for timing out matches. Now is this that? No. However is their another exploit we may not know about? Possibly! This definitely seemed suspect however the game has been pretty bad lately especially with fast attacking. Im going to guess and say general lag on this one. He should have switched out shortly after the first feather dance as he would have had another one banked. Instead he over tapped which can be the case with Gust, Confusion or Incinerate in which he then fainted.
