From personal experience in collecting hockey for the past 10 years or so, the safest/best investments are "generational players" (Crosby, Ovechkin, McDavid...) It's unfortunate but there are so many all-star level players who simply plateau and decrease in value later within their careers, despite having great careers. So many guys are chasing what's hot in hockey like Kaprizov, but reality is he's an all-star level player who'll slowly be forgotten as new players come in to the league... Or another strategy in hockey is to simply invest in a player who's underachieving in hopes of a breakout season... hope this helps ✌🏻

The 1966 Topps Mantle card alone isn't even worth a ton of money. A PSA 8 1966 Mantle goes for less than $2,000 dollars. I'm not sure about a PSA 10, but I can't see one being worth more than $4,000-$5,000. It's a decent amount of money but nowhere near the value of some of his other cards.

Hundreds of these were printed for attendees. Topps cut the facsimile signature from the program and embedded it into a card and tried to pass it off as real. Way to go Topps.
