The comment about black men was meant to be that specific. He wants to highlight issues within our community specifically in an effort to change it. Yes, you can say all people do this and that- but that’s not the point. I agree with him. Black men hold trauma against their own (yes women do too, but again- focusing on the point), and speak with such familiarity, anger and intensity with one another- a manner they’d hesitate to exhibit with others.
