For a minute there I was wondering why your Shogun's Assassin record had a different cover than mine but then I realized I have the TV score to the show Shogun. 🙄 Great movie though! I've actually heard the "other" Pantera before and remember liking it. I'll have to revisit that. Nice records, nice vid! Just subbed. Cheers!
The channel "Movies and Music with Bagheera" actually showed off a single from the Lone Wolf and Cub TV series, and Shogun Assassin is edited from the Lone Wolf and Cub movies. I think the score is totally different as well. Lots of awesome stuff, I'm particularly curious in checking out the Pantera record and I've subbed as well. Cheers!
I have that Ike Turner one too, but I get it, he's a tough one to show if you're trying to avoid controversial topics. But I collect everything from Jackie Brenston & the Delta Cats to the Ike & Tina stuff. Cool channel, saw you holding up Satan is Real in another vid, that's the holiest of all grails, but actually not my favorite by The Louvins.
Thanks for doing this video, Will. Nice set of interesting records! I have a copy of that original Toshiko's Piano and it's a very nice album (mine is also a VG+ sometimes and VG the rest of the time). But what a skillful pianist she was. Every time I spin it I imagine what it must've been like for her as a person of Japanese origins right after WWII *and* playing in virtually all-boys clubs back in the 50's. Ooof! What a strong lady! Cheers man.
You have to separate the artist from the art with Ike Turner. All the early stuff he played on is pretty great and he was a badass guitar player. Too bad he ruined his legacy.

Nice rares! I have a Legalize It reissue and years ago I got it on CD. Mine are not rare, but I dig the music!
New to the channel. Really enjoyed the showings. I subbed up. Good stuff.
I had a Shogun Assassin shirt. I miss it.
Thanks Eric! Would love that Shogun Shirt
Shogun Assasin is a grail. There is wild electronic music there! Didn't know that there is soundtrack for it. One of my fav movies forever!
It's so good!
Legalize It made my 10 Best Records for 1976 but not that version. Enjoyed your entry.
Thanks Richie! A top spot for Legalize it.
