I know koushik from years .I am vey big fan of him.The knowledge he has and the way he explain is superb...But i am really surprised the way shiva explains, It is completely different approach but very clear ...............You guys reminds me sachin, dravid and laxman in test cricket.. kudos to all of you...
This podcast was simply amazing. I just wonder if you’re looking at having a public forum where people like us can chat about these things and also the philosophy behind a lot of concepts (Which enables us to decide what are we exactly trying to do and what should we do). Super podcast 🔥
I really want some video.. on how things actually works in a real production environment. .because not everyone is lucky to get a project on microsevices or kuberbetes or docker...
Very nice discussion on microservices.. starting from why do we need to which scenarios does it fit..you all have summarised all the aspects of microservices journey till date and the surrounding technologies with ecosystem 🙏
Strangler pattern is most possible solution where microservices system starts as Monolith and as keep on mature understanding of business, using event storming the coherent services can be created from Monolith.
The content is really good but it would be more effective if all speakers use either headphone or a close microphone so that Audio delivery is good, Thank you
Hi Ranga, Koushik & Siva. I wonder why this playlist cannot be a base for a course on software Architect journey. It will be great help for the people who are like me in middle management
I can understand serverless will be a cloud or lambda function. But when implementing with spring boot it will be serverless but in turn it will refer tomcat right, inbuilt server.
I didn't really understand the part on Istio .. To me Istio is very promising, and a good add on to pretty much any kubernetes cluster I can't really see, real drawbacks, it's basically a great improvement on lots of different part of a kubernetes cluster, better security, metrics capture, ingress controller, maybe you don't need it, which is okay, most likely your environnement would be much cleaner/better with it ! They're talking about it being a drawback and a central point of control ... I mean yeah I don't know it's not like every call as to go through one Istio component, there is just call happening at different point and side containers to make some process run ... Anyone ?
Ranga i have question for you?… when we talk about microservices mostly it is related to backend..but how about front end..is frontend gonna be still monolithic ?…i heard there is concept call micofronts…can you do vedio or podcast related to that

Great videos. Keep continuing this series. Thanks for all the knowledge
This is a great conversation, so many ways to look at on micro services its pros and cons
Amazing all, thanks for sharing your experience 💪
Event sourcing and its use cases can be worthy of another episode.
What other topics do you want us to talk about?
Designing Reactive Systems
Backend Development 👍🏻
Spring reactive, would like to hear use cases where it is getting adopted, difficult to think of use cases where spring reactive could be put to use.

Cloud Native
It's not the company that needs to be microservice ready, it's the product.

Good Luck Kaushik!

Great Discussion! How do you see microservices evolving with the growing adoption of Generative AI ?
