- One is of 2 metres 46 centimeters tall, another has a shoe size of 68...these giants hold some big world records. A dozen of the world's tallest people meet in Paris where they are greeted by crowds of people who suddenly feel very, very small.

The rule of thumb for me has always been, you only have a reason to criticize if you bring more than the counterpart to the table. You can criticize me, if I earn less than you, if I am shorter than you, if my Body Mass Index is nowhere near yours. Now, out of principle I'd never do this myself to anyone, because I think it's disrespectful, but I'd take the punch if I got called out for any of those. Now, something I could never take the punch is, if someone earning less than I do, shorter than I am or fatter than I am calls me out. That's just laughable. "No" can be an answer, with not a single string attached, but "he is too short" from someone shorter than me GTFO.

My neighbour is 7'4 and he is only 10 year old.
He was featured in barcrofts channel as the tallest 8 year old he was 6'6 at that time.

with my morning height (right under 6'9), in shoes I would be a little over 6'10, still growing, and these guys would make me feel tiny. lets be real though i'm not like to their chest or anything that shorter, I'm just atleast half a head shorter than the 7'3 and up guys, and at most, a bit over a head shorter than the tallest guy (8'1)

In a place called Taraba state in Nigeria we have such people. My course mate who is over 6' 3" said he saw them and was so scared of how tall they were. I exclaimed how can you be scared of them with your height that means people like me who are 5' 6" would faint when we see them. 😁😁😁
I stroll around Amsterdam and you will see the occasional 7'-7'4" (210-220cm). Most men here are 6' to 6'8"

I know how much can hurt be so tall, i am 7 feet and i'm from italy and every time i get out of my house all the people stare me like i am a strange animal and people when i was a teenager always asked me: "do you play basketball?" " you should play at basketball because you are tall".

I feel like that in my day to day standing at 1.94m ('bout 6'4" 1/2). I usually stand out in crowds and in my group of friends when I go out. It's not often for me to see someone who's taller passing by.
You can feel sometimes a bit left out, it's a weird feeling tbf, because you would think quite the contrary.

Let's be real, these guys aren't normal people, I am 6'8 but I work just like a regular human being, these guys have gigantism, objectively they have a harder time doing anything that I could do easily, I don't look at these people and feel grounded to be honest, I feel lucky to not have the same fate, It's not good to be that tall, they are great human beings but to be honest it doesn't feel intimidating because they aren't capable of most things we are and secondly because they legitimately seem like very nice people to talk to.
These giants have bad lives; mostly too poor to lead a comfortable life, constantly stared and looked as a freak, hard to find a partner, have a car, joint issues etc

I’m 6’5 (195 cm) I leave in France and being tall is definitely has benefited me in a lot of ways and I don’t have any problem in my everyday life (a part from talking to people who are 5’5😂😂I never hit my head on the roof or anything like that so I don’t understand why people say being tall is a bad thing e proud of it and use it at your advantage
depends on how tall you are really, i'm 6'7 and i hit my head on many doors and i struggle a lot with legroom in some cases, though being tall can also be a big gift, especially since i'm only 13 and i look older lol

I've actually met a 7'5 guy when I went to the U.S. on a business trip. I'm just 6'3 but when I saw him up close, literally my head is like just at his shoulder level and we took a selfie together. Although even though my view of him is really tall and I look like a literal child to him LOL, my co-workers said that even me standing beside him, I don't look short, like, he was just too damn tall but they say even with him, I still look tall.
I think this just goes to show that you really don't have to be taller than a lot of guys out there, just that you have to be a legit solid tall guy that is widely accepted by society to not look short.
So I guess I kinda feel as to why some guys out there are really insecure about their height and this 7'5 guy that I met ngl, kinda made me a little bit insecure about my height.
Though, I guess I'd still be slightly insecure about it even if I was 6'8 or even 6'10 since he's still noticeably taller than me even if I'm at that great of a height lol.
