I dont know how it's hard for small channel's like yours to break through with such brilliant recordings, the footage is sumptuous and your knowledge of the history to go with it is a pure genius skill. Your channel deserves to be huge and well enjoyed by everyone who seeks the ancient history. I love your channel and I hope you get all the views you want and need, you show us what other channels dont and when people all over cotton on you will be massive and everybody will learn from you and respect you because you have done all the hard work with studies and exploring. Thanks ASG. I went to Egypt 30 years ago and saw most of the best-known antiquities. This tour of tombs in a 'ghost town' brings home to me yet again that the Egyptian moment in time lasted THOUSANDS of years. The forgotten sites of Egyptian antiquities would be premier attractions in any other country. Once again, thanks for covering this amazing village.

When I see you reading or explaining the images on these tombs, I am reminded of the Voyager space probes with the golden albums on them. Millions of years from now, although highly unlikely, some aliens may discover them and read them to their species. Here you are, reading or explaining these messages to us. I wonder if the makers of these tombs ever envisioned that thousands of years later a beautiful young lady would be reading these messages to the whole world. HOW LUCKY THEY ARE!!! HOW LUCKY WE ARE!!! 👍✨💖🍾🌻🌹😻👀

These are beautiful depictions, Irina, altho' it saddens me that Humankind has sought to rob-out particular elements for personal gain - it's a common denominator since time immemorial; that said, we are fortunate that you - who is clearly passionate about this period of antiquity, continue to evaluate such once-hidden gems - & without which, we could never imagine the machinatiions of this continent; daily lives of the great & the good ( & the not so generous), as well as the more ordinary ethics of the less well known citizenry. Long may you continue in your quest to rediscover this incredible land. Wonderful stuff !

WOW, Irene! Great episode! I learned alot! I'm going to make a few comments here, so bear with me please. It's tragic that the tombs Art survived for millennia, and in less than 70 year's " professionals" managed to all but destroy, instead of preserve.
It's interesting that the flat wall paintings are characture representation of humans, yet many of the fully 3 dimensional sculptures look like portraits. As an artist I would definitely have been one of the artists working in the tomb!
I believe most of the Gold in Egypt was actually from Nubia ( modern South Sudan). As well as the Ivory etc. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Can't wait for for your next episode. Lots of love. 🖖😁🤘🇨🇦

Your videos on ancient Egypt are interesting and nice, but here I would like to mention that the village of Qurnat Murrai has not been deserted by the inhabitants but they have been chased out by the government, if needed with rifles aimed at them ... they did not receive a correct compensation but small concret houses or small flats in far away New Qurna. ... many elders died of a broken heart shortly after the expulsion ... a very sad story.

This is simply the way they adorned themselves. The official ancient Kemet pose involves crossing their arms. Left arm with right on top.
The initial dark-skinned girl at 2:21, holding the tray of gold, bears a resemblance to the dark-skinned girl situated behind the chariot.

The ancient Egyptian DNA consists of Levantine + North African. And both of them are not black. As for the origin of the ancient Egyptians, they are descended from the inhabitants of North Africa + Levantine + Mesopotamia and Iran + Anatolia. This is the origin of the ancient Egyptian who built the pyramids and built the ancient Egyptian civilization. But there are other peoples who came to Egypt, and they are the Libyans, the Nubians, the Greeks, then the Arabs, then africans from South of the Sahara during the slave trade. You can look for the statue of the seated scribe, the statue of Rahotep with his wife, the statue of Khafre, Nefertiti, Horemheb, senusret 1. the mummy of Ramesses II, Yuya, Tuya, Teti, and Tuthmosis IV. The ancient Egyptian used the color red to describe the male, while white or yellow to describe the female.search for tomb of roy. Also, the inhabitants of the island of Crete in Greece, they used the same method. Search for pictures of the Minoan civilization, which is the civilization of the island of Crete. If you want to see what the ancient Egyptians were like , search for portraits of Fayoum, which are pictures of the ancient Egyptians. Most of the pictures on the Internet of ancient Egyptians have been blackened or belong to the Nubians, so it is preferable to visit Egypt and see the pictures for yourself or search On a reliable site. Thank you for reading. I am Egyptian, by the way..

It seems such a pity to leave the ancient treasures of Egypt in the hands of the Egyptians.

Nowadays, they take great care of their monuments. I would like to remind you that 150 years ago, in what remained of the plundered Roman Forum in Rome, there was a pasture for cattle... times have changed, not only in Egypt😉

I changed the name as ancient sites was to vague and people couldn't find it, but I film ancient sites, perhaps in the future I'll expand the subject. :)

What makes you think they are wearing wigs? You gonna shave of your hair because you've got nits, and then you're gonna make a wig put it back on your head still won't prevent you of getting nits.

@@ancientsitesgirl modern day Egyptians do not Sport any of those hairstyles. I say Ethiopians of today sport them hairstyles more. When you get invaded by other cultures things change. And the majority of Invaders we're men, these men who invaded Egypt didn't bring their women along for the ride, so they're going to sleep with the women they come across which changes diaspora of the people.
