    Thanks for the tip on tension. I have an old aaro kaukonen that I need to try and get going again. It looks very well used, so I think it's just the tension is too high.

    Do you ever find it a problem that the bobbin is off to the side like that? It seems to me that I would always subconsciously try to turn that way and get back aches

      Yes, if you are looking to spin fine, this wheel handles angora like a dream.
