I have some east and west separdhic
Jewish trough my Louisiana creole mulngeon and redbone my great grandfather’s line is mostly Romanian but lots of Texan and Louisiana redbone with some mulangeon and creole mixed in but there are several Jewish lines traceing to Juan Alonso pimentel and very German Jewish

I'm laughing at the illegitimate found by DNA - that's my Jewish ancestry. My grandmother found out when she got married that she was illegitimate. It took me forever to find her birth certificate because she was given the middle name of her real father as a middle name and her mother's maiden name as a last name. That name was only used on the census when she was an infant, and as a boarder at someone else's house. Through DNA I found her father's family from Amsterdam, which is where I how I found her birth certificate by just wildly searching.

Hello! I’m from Portugal and as I developed my family tree I reached a couple of ancestors from Castelo de Vide who were New Christians: Pedro Carrilho and Afonso de Caceres, the latter even being prosecuted by the Inquisition in 1581 at age 46 in Évora, for “judaism, apostasy and heresy”., They were probably sons or grandsons of exiles from Spain. Do you have any idea how I could further their lines into their Jewish ancestors? Thanks, love your channel
