My grandmother lived in Binghamton New York , has a mountain around it, she said , when she was young people walked after dinner , people knew each other , they said hello , was friendly. In this day and age nobody knows anyone. Berlin reminds me of how people use to be !

"Hey, lets spend ten cents on a condom instead of having seven kids"
NO the Catholic Church commands that we live in poverty and misery
"Well at least lets save our money to go to school and move away instead of making a sucker bet on being wage slaves and our kids being wage slaves on a
      company that gives people cancer"
NO the only way to live life is like an animal in fear and obedience forever. We are slaves and that is the way God wants it.
The city is full of possibility and culture and tolerance and inclusion and knowledge! I don't want me children exposed to that. We HAVE to stay in New Hampshire forever.

When I was a kid we had to go there ounce a year to play them in hockey..
We dreaded it.The mill made the whole area smell like rotten eggs.. and the trees were all brown for Miles.
But it is extremely beautiful and the people are true salt of thee earth people
I'd suggest going for a visit if you've never been

Two of my relatives grew up in Berlin. Brothers Rene and Donald Biron. Both became renowned elctrical engineers. Rene's career was primarily with General Electric, and Don primarily did research at MIT. They married close first cousins from Exeter. Nothing weird ...... Rene married Joanne Carbonneau, who introduced Don to her younger cousin, Phyllis Carbonneau. (Brothers married cousins)
Now, just to keep it complicated (but not at all problematic ☺), something similar happened in the next generation. Myself (Don's and Phyllis' nephew) married my wife Lisa, and then my cousin Jim (Rene and Joanne's son) met and married my wife Lisa's sister. (Sisters married cousins)
