What i learned from this video:
1. Ditch your friends, no matter what.
2. Be suspicious of everything.
3. The couch is the most useful tool.
4. Never cheat (though I hope you didn't learn that HERE)
4.5. If cheating IS allowed, fully use it to your advantage.
a leather couch* specifically
5: destroy everything as last resort
6. Don't leave your house.
Imagine doing to an escape room with your friends to have fun and you just hear a voice say “that was their biggest mistake”😂😂
HAHAHAAHA
I’d accept my fate there and then, knowing damn well I wouldn’t be the main character.
As soon as I hear that I'll be trying to break out there
At this moment he knew he fucked up
@fifi fifi And yet not a souled ask
The wisest person was the friend at the start who said goodbye to them. Props to them.
The wisdom of drunkenness!

Well she said she did want to come but her lack of reliability is actually what saved her tbh.
What I have learned from movies: If you get an Escape Room ticket, immediately throw it out and end the relationship.
SAME!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same 😂😂
Or at least ask for details and refuse to follow your friends into a creepy van.
1:26 it’s crazy how lucky she is
imagine one day he just uploads a commentary video of his home invasion footage and it's like: "The two masked characters decide to break in through the back door of the supposedly unsuspecting victims house with the intent to steal. But they will soon find out that this was a HUGE mistake" *steps into security camera frame with a 12 gauge*
Man, you better hope he lives in Texas, or he's going to have to do a voiceover adding, "Our main character is a successful RUclipsr, and while he thought he was just making a clever meta-joke, he's going to find out _that_ was his biggest mistake. See, this RUclipsr lives in [a state other than Texas], and he just admitted on camera that he only thought the intruders were there to steal. He may have thought it was funny, but he probably won't be laughing for long once he's sitting in a courtroom, watching the DA play it for the jury at his trial for first-degree murder. But what do you think?" 😄
(Just in case: I really _do_ think your comment is clever, especially as something to visualize happening. But I also couldn't help but laugh when when you had him say "intent to steal," because even in states with the strongest protections for self-defense, except Texas, you have to at least have a reasonable belief that you or someone else is at imminent risk of death or great bodily harm before you can defend yourself with deadly force. So it was funny to think about someone who picks on the foolish choices characters make in movies basically record himself confessing to and committing a crime, which would _definitely_ be a foolish choice.)
@@jacksyoutubechannel4045 that’s insane to me. You should be able to defend your home/belongings with as much force possible. But nah we would rather cater to criminals in this country.
@@Bwri6565 nukes >:3
@@Bwri6565 Nothing is worth more than the human life. A country/state putting the inviolability of property ownership ahead of the right to live and you know not get murdered is working with a faulty legal system. But hey you be you.
@@Galloglaoch Nah I value my life, family, and property more than I value someone’s life that has I’ll intent towards mine. You never know what someone’s true intentions are or if they’re armed so why should I be required to risk my families life in our safe haven known as my home. It’s not murder to protect yourself or those around you. Stop defending criminals. The second you enter my space will I’ll intent you will be handled before you have the opportunity to take me or my families lives. A legal system that allows me to protect what I work hard for and my families right to safety in our own space is a legal system I have faith in actually.
"Setting the room on fire" is my new favorite way to escape a LOCKED ROOM.....
I thought about that too 😂
There's been a lot of escape room themed horror movies recently but I'm not disappointed as a huge fan of escape rooms
sometimes genres are overused in short time, but maybe that is ok. At least we get it out of our system for a while and have a wide selection to choose from.
@@koseorhun this is true. I was really into the "over the internet" online type Skype found footage horror for a while there, like Unfriended, and then Zoom got big and even more were spewed out, like Livescream and Profile. Tired of it now, but it was a fun novelty for a while
@@koseorhun it also gives it more opportunities to be done right.
The horror escape rooms are pretty good. They are more expensive, as they use live actors. Your "timer" for a room might be the zombie on a leash 6in from a pole, which is able to pull out more chain every 5min. There are some serial stabber ones where it forces you to split the party. One needs to run through a maze (the killer walks) while the other tries to open the exit for the other via puzzle. There's plenty of time, so I can only speculate on what happens if you fail this section. The serial killer actor would "stab" you with his metal painted knife and delare you "out".
Its just a pretty good setting for horror. How many other scenarios will a rational group of friends willingly enter a locked confined space at someone else’s mercy without lots of suspicion. Especially since things like blindfolds and handing over phones are a bit odd but fit the theme of an escape room enough that it doesn’t cause too much suspicion.
5:17 Hi, just adding something to this part. You’d want to aim for a corner since it’s weaker than the center. It’s an attachment point and those are usually weaker due to it not being a solid area, like a wall.
The Narcissistic Notes Puzzle I found to be very clever. Themesong can also be seen as "the me song" which is obviously the most Narcissistic piece of music one can think of
This guy is getting a lot of hate that he doesnt deserve. Let me explain:
This channel isnt about how to beat in their perspective/scenario, its about knowing how to beat the situation IF you were to end up like them. If you still dont trust me, if you watched his videos, he says a lot of the time"if it were me,..." so he is explaining what to do only if you were ending up like them. Please stop the hate.He doesnt do anything wrong. They don't have critical thinking skills. That's why they don't pay attention to "If it were me"
Yeah it's called "how to beat" not "everyone is stupid except for me".
where is the hate? not in the comments that's for sure....
Where is the hate exactly?

Here's one for the teddy bear part:
One of them could've taken off their shirt or pants or something, tie it around the lever, and then pull until the door is wide open, block the door with a couch or something, and then they both escape unharmed, they sacrificed a piece of clothing, but it's better lose a piece of clothing than getting your arm crushed and sitting their bleeding to death.

8:26-8:35 McKamey Manor has left the chat
Russ McKamey should have been the inspiration for over half of the US death game movie baddies.
To be fair that’s a huge outlier
That last trap at the exit, why don't they use their clothing to tie around the pull lever in the bears mouth? Then they can pull it while being near the door. Then no one has to even risk dying
same thing I thought of
if you ever find yourself in a death game, just remember that you will probably be in a how to beat video

what sane person thinks "hmm i better spend 6000 dollars on this mysterious box that randomly appeared on my doorstep"
Randomly found this channel a month ago now I’m convinced I’m an escape room expert 🤣
My sister genuinely asked an escape room attendant if the walls would start closing and the room would start filling with water and im convinced she watched this channel beforehand 💀
After thoroughly thinking about the cast, I've come to the conclusion that the guy at 4:23 is the best character.
I think the escape room was completely automated with some of the puzzles acting as traps. That crossword puzzle seemed to be nothing more then a trap for the participants and didn't yeild any positive results, just like the air duct. In fact what if the mastermind was actually one of the participants. My money would be on Natasha as she was still alive when Tyler left the room and he didn't see he arm get ripped off.
I’m really getting sick of these obvious twists where the victim was in some way or form behind the whole situation their in, Christen definitely got these people killed just because of petty revenge on her boyfriend
True, I still enjoy a certain character in them though. I liked Anderson he was the most hesitant and cautious dude but was expresses and concerns were ultimately ignored in the end.
You clearly didn't watch the movie lol
Bruh, if my SO paid $1,000 for an escape room ticket per PERSON, then they are no longer my SO🙃😂
There's so many escape room movies/series and... I don't know why someone on production thought "Escape Room" would be a good name lol
The title aside, this channel really introduces me to a lot of new horror movies, I love it! You make these movie less scary and also quite entertaining!! :D
I think its genius, if someone were to look for one of the great many escape room thriller/horror films, this one is gonna be the first one to pop up.
I had no idea there were two Escape Room movies that had the same title and premise.
about the Bear trap at about 23:19 how do we know Natasha really died from that, to me it looks like she "only" got her hand chopped off which is survivable (I think). Couldn't Tyler just hold the door open for her?
I don’t think that it’s her losing her hand, I think it’s because the door would then be locked and more difficult for her to be able to escape through the door, as she would be in pain and panicking
A wound that big as a hand being chopped off would cause whoever to be in so much pain and loss of blood that they will be slowed down and eventually pass out from the pain. What do I think? I think that she died, because a wound that big causes to much for the human body to handle and survive with.
@@josephhancock4576 100% they would not only start to bleed out, but also go into shock, pass out, when they wake up they'd be in excruciating pain. No way she was getting out of there
@@Enya_artist The thing that was closing looked pretty blunt, so most likely it broke her arm, but didn't sever her hand? It would still be immensely painful but she would die of dehydration well before the broken arm infecting if she doesn't escape, but that would still give her better odds than getting a hand cut off
@@Milloeuf it may have been blunt but it still completely severed her arm.

Really can’t wait for this guy to reveal the conclusions of Alice in Borderland 2’s games. Awesome video. I always watch those while eating breakfast in the weekends. Have a damn good day.
A better solution for the bear mouth mechanism is simply taking some piece of rope or binding (like their clothes), wrapping it around the pull switch, and then pulling on it. This allows the door to be open and the bears mouth to close fully on the soft fabric, not harming the users hand.
The other individual can then prop open the door with something to keep it open so the other person can release the pull switch.
did you watch the part where he said exactly that?

How to beat: You must light the room on fire.
Well since Christmas is almost here.
I hope you have a damn good Christmas.
Agreeing to go in a car with blacked out windows where you don't know who is driving and then being blindfolded and led to the building is just stupid. You're putting yourselves in a situation where, if anything goes wrong, none of you know where you are or who took you there. Especially with giving up your phones.
My only issue with all these horror movies revolving around escape rooms are the titles themselves. Almost every single one has "escape" in the title. How am I supposed to find this movie when there's like FOUR more called Escape Room??? Like y'all couldn't name your movies slightly better?
Oh my god finally. I have been looking for this movie from anyoneee but all i could ever find was the netflix escape room movie. Which is good but this is like my horror scene lmao. I deadass thought i was hallucinating or smt because i couldnt find this movie anyyywhere i thought i just made it up again 😭😂
Making great videos! Keep up the good work and have a damn good day
I always shake and get scared to death when I finish one of your videos but knowing that you are sweet guys helps me sleep at night 😅
I want to actually see you do an escape room, like you always think of smart ideas I would have never thought of😂
I must be an idiot because I always thought the friend at the start that didn't go with them was the one that got them killed. I assumed so because she was always made fun of as being somewhat poor compared to the others, and at the end of the movie there is a scene that her is having a blast at a party while everything happened... Or maybe I am mixing up movies idk, it was terrible nontheless
so, the part with the bear mouth closing scene: there's plenty of newspaper around so use the newspaper to put it into the bears teeth way so Natasha doesn't get stabbed, or the better option is to break the bears teeth I'm willing to bet those aren't real or metal so breaking them won't be hard they could easily be snapped by a metal box in the room that looks to be there or the best option let that beech die, all she has been doing is making advances and distacting but you could still use her as a punching
LETS GO ANOTHER BANGER
Like your content, your explanation is just spectacular

Don't drink with dumb people. A simple trick that has now got me a way better life than any of my classmates.
Ugh I love these videos😩
for the bear, why not jam news papers in there tucking them behind the handle till it's enough to open the door? she uses very little force to pull the handle and she can stick wads of balled up paper in with her hand and tucker it behind the bar. also instead of a chair stacks of newspaper would be way more effective to hold the door. putting phone books in a cars paneling is a decent way to bullet proof cause paper will only give til it can no longer expand at the point of pressure. same with the door, lay a stack sideways in the door. i have seen hydralic presses rupture trying to crush paper, no way that door would have that kind of pressure.
That's what I was thinking
For the bear trap, I think it's possible that Tyler could remove his trousers or his love sleeve shirt and tie it to the handle then they could open the door, because even if they still had the wires, the iron inside could snap it or it snaps on it's own when they try pulling it
Could you do a video on the 1979 film "Tourist Trap"? I remember my dad showing it to me as a kid. It was horrifying, but looking back it was a fun slasher film.
It was really weird lol loved it
I was literally just binging this channel at work and see that this was just uploaded lol

Are you seriously suggesting starting a fire in such a small area in the hope of emergency services to show up to your rescue? Do you think that the door is enough to protect you from the fire/smoke inhalation. Do you really think the mastermind did not take the initiative to disable such any alarms that may be present? And why on Earth would the mastermind willingly enter in the escape room after a fire has been set off?
Right? Thank you, I had a tough time with that.
We all miss the og name cinema summary so iconic
I wanna see him in a game to see if he can think this clever and fast as he does in the videos
Obviously not, because his solutions sometimes involve something as insane as chemistry or physics stuff no one would come up with on the fly. I think he is aware of that, too, this really isn't about "How I would easily beat all of these insane situations", but JUST "How to beat".
@@helion_ut maybe if it were a specific situation, it could realistically fit. I liked his Midsommar analysis because he was breaking down cult psychology and manipulation tactics, and a lot of it was common sense. I guess it'd depend on the situation he was in, or the game he was playing. Maybe something like Detroit: Become Human?
Also sometimes his solutions require materials no longer available like the binding in this video or yet to be known knowledge
I mean... it's why we watch these vids... to learn. he's learning too by making them
He has the advantage of foresight because he is a viewer of an horror movie just like us.
His videos are in fact movie reviews with the spice he adds with his cold-blooded, hyper-focused, survivalist and intelligent character. Yeah, the one portrayed in the video is a character, one that ends up being darkly-funny by the cold-blooded suggestions he makes (which fits the theme of horror-movies)
You either like his character or not, it is a very subjective taste. I do like his videos because he talks about some horror gems I never heard about.
Great vid, but you should try to think more like the characters would. No one is gonna think a weird escape room is actually a plot to kill you all in inventive ways. So they would only be thinking it isn’t an escape room after someone died.
Note to self: If someone pulls out a blindfold, don't put it on.
I’d love to watch How To Beat in a life or death escape room murder mystery challenge game.
I'm more surprised that she didn't know what was coming. I knew what button that Tyler would push and that was amistake to do. Heck he could have survived if he hadnt.
Ok there was an episode of Last Week Tonight that talked about how using the data companies sell, someone can find the name and address of about 60% of the people whose data was sold using some basic detective skills a bit of time. So a company being able to find your address is unlikely and stupid, it is very much possible
Faking a medical emergency would have been my first idea, too (in all these escape room movies). A seizure would probably be the easiest and simplest and doesn't involve actually hurting yourself in any way. While many medical professionals can tell if someone is faking a seizure (they need to closely observe seizures as different types need different treatments and also subtle thing IN the seizures can help them guess the cause, plus faking seizures is one of the most common things in people with Munchausen's), 99.99% of people cannot.
Petit mal seizures are easy to fake though
@@LeynaraLarwenarenel Can be, but also they aren't classed as an emergency. And someone observing likely wouldn't know it was even happening even with a real one
Same. Stress can also trigger a seizure for someone with epilepsy making it even more believable
@@iriswhite3184 YES! A lot of people don't realise that. I have "Non-Epileptiform Seizure Disorder" so while my seizures are never triggered by thing like noise or strobe lighting, they can be triggered by stress.
There was a case in my country when 4 teenagers died in an escape room because there was a fire. There was a gas explosion and no one could be saved. Since then, my country has introduced special regulations regarding such attractions to avoid another tragedy.
