This game was kinda terrible but at the same time I think there were some pretty good moments. I really need to stop my bad habit of searching the field spell and just try to just play Lab and floodgate my opponent as soon as possible. This duel would have been sealed if I just searched for Cuclock to use on the EEV but it all worked out in the end once again.

How would you say this deck performs in the current meta?

Assuming that you're referring to Labrynth. Even a somewhat primitive version of the deck, like mine, without any of the newer cards like Fenrir, TTT and Daruma Cannon, can be highly competitive. It's definitely not a straightforward deck that plays itself however, it takes good piloting and always molding your plays around your opponent's.
Certain decks like the Runik, Ace Striker and the mirror match just fold immediately to flipping EEV, which is as easy as breathing to this deck.
