The biggest hurtle someone will have with vinyl is distribution is a rip off, kind of like pressing plants where you’re just happy to have a record out. If your music is not distributed then it won’t be in stores. Most stores will turn you down especially if you have no credibility. So you’re stuck with boxes on vinyl that go in storage. You can imagine how many artist approach a record store with their new record that probably wouldn’t sell.
You forgot copyright, artist permission like a contract, credits, how to sell it I.e. shady distribs vs doing it yourself pros and cons, how to mail out vinyl, test pressings
