Hey man thanks for the info. Do I really need a hotspot for this to work on road-trips? Or does this device use my phone’s carrier signal service like 5G?

If you don’t use hotspot, can you mirror from your phone to the screen? And are those apps just ones that it comes with or can you download apps like Disney+ or ESPN etc?

Can Samsung S20 connect wirelessly to the module??? I was only able to connect directly to head unit ,not the Carsmart Device is it the phone not able to connect Android Auto Wirelessly???
Wait does it connect when your phone is connected via USB? If so, your phone apps pop up on the vehicles unit?
@@RedLineMods1 Yes only through the unit not on the Carsmart module is possibly the 2020 can't connect wireless, although the IPhone 13 Pro Max connects perfectly on the carplay???

Wow, I have a 2021 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T, I've been looking for something like this, I know with the old hondas like 2015 to like 2020 the civics you could jailbreak and hack the display somehow, But the new 10th Gen accords they stopped people from doing that with the car displays, I WILL NOT do this but just out of curiosity does it work while driving like youtube, or is their restrictions. Other than that if this really works what other features does it have cause I saw others that weren't mentioned, can you preorder it without buying it right now cause that's a lot of money to wait upfront and can you video like can you hook up a camera or something to it????

How can I delete apps? Also, can I arrange the apps in the order I want? The lack of 2seconds in the wireless carplay is a fact in the product, not just to some people

I had RUclips & Netflix connected via hotspot but no audio through speakers ??? Do your have solution to fix audio connection
I ran into same issue, just hit the audio on/off button twice, as if you are turning the audio off and onn..

I agree, nothing in life is fast lol. Once we start the car engine, we gotta wait 5-7 minutes for it to warm up anyways. 😅

How do I get my car to connect to the personal hotspot on my phone? Whenever I click on RUclips or Netflix it won’t connect because the car has no WiFi to connect to. The hotspot is turned on in my phone and my phone’s bluetooth is on and connected to Venus-013E

@@javiersantiago9372 I’ve been able to get mine to work now you just have to make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is connected to the device mine says Venus or whatever then on your display screen go to the settings app on the device and click on WiFi and while it’s searching for your phone you have to go on your phone and click on settings then click on personal hotspot and STAY on that screen the whole time without touching anything (just make sure “allow others to join” is turned on) and after awhile it should show on the display screen the device automatically connect to your phone’s hotspot

@@robmart116 i found the problem my sim card was locked so it gives minimal access to things. Well im hoping thas the problem i tried different iPhones that did and didnt have sim locked and the ones that had no sim lock were the ones the car would connect to. So im hoping that is the problem
@@javiersantiago9372 good luck hopefully that was the issue. I’ve been able to use RUclips Netflix hbo max and paramount plus but I don’t think you can get hulu or Disney plus unfortunately

You can also connect a external USB for music.. but you won’t need more than 1GB in apps lol. Trust me.

You can insert USB in it. Haven’t tried putting pictures onto it. I know if you have music or something on the USB, you can play it.
