Crazy to think for the first couple episodes Cimo didn’t realize how good timebreaker really was and now it’s probably one of his best cards😂
Don't even get me started. Those first few episodes that had Timebreaker I was SCREAMING at my computer screen for him to use it.
Same with Stapelin, one of the most effective stall cards he got, and he wrote it off initially.

Well, while generally entertaining he's definitely not a graceful winner. Also, this brings back playground memories where you just played whatever you had with little rime or reason.
Herald of orange light is a great tuner since it is a level 2 light that can be paired with any level 4 dark for the chaos beast synchro

Cimo, as a Noble Knight player, I just want to remind you that the Noble Knight in your deck can be special summoned if there's a Light normal monster on your field (like Dunames), potentially giving you 2 level 4 materials to overlay in a single turn. Pleaaaseee

This is still the greatest series concept ever. Every real win feels so euphoric. I'm begging you for this to be uploaded twice a week. I could watch infinite episodes of this. And the best part, if the deck eventually gets actually good 200 episodes in, starting again for a second season will still feel completely fresh with the randomness of the cards

@@opgfo1 it's actually fun to play like this. I know the title of the series is mas,ochist and he acts weary and annoyed while playing, but you it's actually fun and you can tell he enjoys it. I'm currently doing my own run and it's been a blast.
its so funny how as someone who has enjoyed ursarctic for a while (i dont have a problem i swear) i audibly yelled "THE BIG DIPPER" when it activated its effect to re-yoink Megapolar and my dog looked at me like i just called him a slur

2. Through this series Cimoooooooo has shown us that he is the most determined duelist out there.
It either takes determination or pure stubbornness and insanity to continue this after so so many continuous losses.
I will admit now that I wouldn't have been able to do and just dust everything to and start playing Heros
Ciimo missing lethal at 43:30 drove me mildly insane. Summon Yagan, XYZ into Firewall eXceed, and then you can Back to Square One the Rayel and get in for lethal since Lightning Rod is off the board.
He could also use the Runick card during the battle phase and still attack.
I think he doesn't realise he has an extra deck yet

Does cimo have any crystal beasts? Also the rainbow dragon is a two tribute summon and can be revived with revival of the dragon lords, you also have materials for chaos beast through herald and DD survivor. Things are slowly piecing together!

A strat that can be used with Giant Rex is banish it for Draco utopic Aura and now you got a 2000 body on the field on top of what you stole

Cimoooo, please consider adding a reward every time that you rank up into a different tier to give you a better competitive chance. For example, let gold be 3 masterpacks, silver be 2, and so on and so forth. Absolutely loving this series! My favorite yugioh series by far!

I expect him to get demoted and promoted back and forth a lot, so he will end up getting the “special reward” too often.
Special reward is literally against masochism
In think the alternative would be 1 craft per rank up tier with
Bronze for a common, silver for a rare and so on
The weird thing about this series is the fact that as the deck gets better the hope to be able to do things also is there, meaning the losses hit harder. Sad times.

i think its kinda unlucky cimo still doesnt have much in the extra. with this many packs i expected him to have at least 15 realistically summonable cards
He has good pieces, like if he gets Aliester. He can summon Raidjin, add back the Gouki Twist Cobra for the wind. Not to mention Caliga being a decent floodgate.
He has Armor Master and Shura, and no Blackwing Tuners. Access to 2500 beater is practically a towers for his deck.
The pieces are there, he just needs to get e’m.
Herald of Orange Light and Chaos Beast might be the start of a potential chaos engine since he has Nova Summoner.
He might even add best girl Dunamis again, because she is both a light target for Beasts effect and a Fairy to pitch for Herald.
I mean in my head i compare his pulls often times to something like the Master series or anything like this and i feel like MBT and Dzeff pull way more generic good stuff from tgeir masterpacks. could be misleading though because they open way more

I really love this series, and i say this every episode, but honestly it just brings me back to building my deck from left overs from random people. My first deck was the remains of a pend structure deck and some random commons, like Re-Ex, Cyber Dinosaur, and my baby Orbital Hydralander!
I never realised how long these episodes were, 1 HOUR I could've sworn they were only 20mins or so. That's how fun they are.
They're usually 30-45 minutes. This one is long.

Idea? Masochist's Trade shop - "Can't craft a card already owned" Option 1 - Dismantle 3 URs and 3 SRs to craft 1 SR. Option 2 - Dismantle 3 SRs and 3 Rares to craft 1 Rare. Option 3 - Dismantle 3 Rares and 3 Commons to craft one Common. "Can't craft URs"
This episode was rough. Still, draco utopian aura is a huge boon that will surely help a lot once the more cohesive decks have moved out of low silver.
Wow, a legit win vs the BLS deck was epic
If Cimo adds the Timegazer along with his other high & low scale he could summon Aether over and over. Along with adding quickdraw to make supreme king clear wing (boardwipe and burn), or adding a lvl 2 tuner to use with Aether.
Still a fun series to watch, there should an official event like this on MD, open 100 random packs and try to win more.
With the draco utopian aura and monster slots you should consider playing giant rex along with dd survivor, they could be free special summons

I watch this series every week while I’m at the gym doing cardio. You gave me a hell of a workout cuz this episode was an hour long. Hahaha. (Thank you).
Remember that fog blade can also be used on your own monsters and even if you don't have a bad effect to negate, it turns your monster into sphere mode and attack locks your opponent. Most decks don't have a lot of spell removal either so it can actually be a lifesaver but just remember to use this trick before an attack is declared, just in case it is possible to miss timing.
Another amazing episode. If there is anything I'd like to add it's that we get to see some of the decks you went up against. You can view them in your match history right after the duel. I was curious about the into the void player's deck.

LOL Call of Duty was the best back in the day. Then after Black Ops 2 it went way downhill. So I grew up and I went back to playing a children’s card game instead.
Isn’t it so hilarious that the majority of people playing Yugioh nowadays are full grown adults (game marketed for 6+ years) but majority of COD players are 12 year old children (rated M for Mature)? 😂😂😂

Yo, this series has inspired me to start a Masochists run for the solo mode! It's still fairly difficult surprisingly. It's actually made me appreciate pendulum monsters, which I have refused to play with until being forced to 🤷♂️

If you open with the Runick card and the opponent is playing something crazy: activate it alone, they may scoop just because Runick is a snoorefest of a deck.
This is absolutely true.
1 out of every 15 opponents scoops the first time they see a Runick card.
Same with me when I see unicorn.

You inspired me to try out Master Duel again with my own "masochist" playstyle as well! I was always too scared to try it, as I didnt like the pressure of having to make a "meta" deck. This kind of play is way more fun.
Got lucky with my initial pulls, in a weird way. I got some Ursarctic cards, and a lot of big star monsters. I can tribute them from my hand for an immediate 2500ish beater. Very fun

Okay cimooo it's time to make another comment. I know playing Yu-Gi-Oh can sometime. Be frustrating, especially to new school Duelists. But knowing that you are a vet, please stop quitting. I know you see no possible chance of winning. But that's not always the case. Stupid s*** happened all the time. When it comes down to opponents. Just play it out. Once they have game on board and you have no way of stopping it, then I can understand. But you just look at what they're playing and things they're doing and just stop at midway to save time. I believe in you cimooo. Please stop quitting. It's so frustrating.

I feel like as an added rule, whenever you rank up, like from bronze to silver or silver to gold, you should be allowed a 10 Master Pack opening to commemorate the occasion

I know that this series has been in the low ranks of Rookie-Gold, but it still amazes me every time that this pile of cards Cimo has piloted has been able to scrape all of its wins against actual players playing jank/competent decks.

Giant rex and Draco-Utopian Aura have really good synergy when it comes to seting up a crack back. Or even when it just comes to living a hit. Giant rex can also serve as a tribute material or just a big body to help you break through boards that a 1800 wouldn't be able too.
Don't sleep on morphking. I started a masochist run myself and it puts in work for synchro plays

Stygi-Gel!!!! He has been carrying my masochist run! I manged to get playable synchro monsters for levels 5-9, including a Wolfrayet which was insane, so as long as my opponent ends with something that has a level I can make plays with it. At least assuming a have a fiend in hand so I just run a few extra fiends which has been fine so far.
Dagda has a TINY bit of synergy. We don't have a link 4, but you can make Firewall eXceed Dragon and make Dagda point to it for a 3500 beater (Firewall is a 2500 that gains 500 for each Link Rating point linked to it). TECHNICALLY increases your attack ceiling, if it ever comes up.
I’ve been doing this challenge and made it to plat over the past 2 weeks. It’s so fun and really levels up your deck building skills after a while. I really recommend you guys try it
Theres a beautiful irony about Blackwings (and BLS) coming to show cimo how it feels to play against them with a deck of a woefully lower power level
Few weeks ago I started a masochist challenge (only master packs no legacy) and so far I'm gold 3 or 2 I cant remember if I ranked up last night. My current score is 26-47 and my best achievement was a 8 win streak in gold. I pulled orochi gizmek at some point around silver 1 so that def helped out a lot

I think First Monarch is probably better then whatever the bad call of the haunted was called, guarenteed 2400 def on a trap that can be used for tribute over a trap card that gets you 2 bad monsters or 1 good momster, whichevers worse and can only be activated with 3 in grave

Keep Background Dragon in mind if you get a critical mass of dragons. Its a Special Summon out of the grave and then a free summon of a lvl 4 or lower dragon from hand if you control no cards, which happens a lot.
Edit: Holy shit Utopian Aura is crazy. Its just a monster negate. I figured it would require a Utopia or something, but no, its just a negate.
I think Cimo should be able to open whatever free packs he gets when he opens a Master Pack. If the keys open a free pack, he should take them.
It’s in the spirit of the challenge because it’s completely random, it keeps him from building a solidly competitive deck and it lets him open more cards which gives more deck variety
You don't get free secret packs from opening packs - you merely unlock them in the shop. To get a free secret pack, you have to craft a SR or UR card in the pack.
Man says "please don't be Labrynth" when their deck has Labrynth sleeves.

I am pretty sure at some point we will have to add more rules than just one master pack
Maybe something like 1 free secret pack per ep or per rank up
Or one card craft per ep (only if you already own a copy of that card )

I feel like you should get bonus packs every 25 wins or something. Like a full ten master packs. You might get some extra good cards, but that doesn't mean it will give you any coherent strategy.
