Is there an option to turn non-dangly earrings to clipons? I mean like some earrings go right on the earlobe if I'm making any sense. Do these converters work on those types of earrings as well or is this just for dangly ones?

Yes it should work the same way. Try to find clip-on bases that are small and won't show too much behind the studs.
