@@erincalvert5241 I get that, but the Sabbath day is a day that is the EXTRA SPECIAL DAY set aside, JUST for God , rest, and solely the intent to put everything else aside, since God made 6 days for work, play, etc.... ❤
Thank you so much for this msg. Like many, I didn't think anything of the day btw Jesus' death and new life for us all. This morning I did. I hv been so stressed & mini tormenting myself over something stupid this wk. This wk, of all the wks 🤦🏾♀️ This morn, I thought of HIS body lying in this cold dark quiet place while HIS Spirit is gone.... I thought about the things HE's brought me thru. Alot of BIG things & some I hd 4gotten while I was spinnin out a lil & not fully present during this wk (benefitting/plsing the enemy, certainly not me or GOD), casting down thoughts but fearing, being anxious, not wanting 2 b in my own skin sometimes, annoyed @/angry w my self, reading my Word, reciting the Word, constantly seeing myself as I see me & not as GOD sees me. Times like these, i say the enemy doesn't hv 2 do anything, i'm doin it all 4 him - participating in my own destruction...NEVERTHELESS JESUS tho. What's interesting is my out of control bp hs been normal. Freaky. I credit GOD. Thru all my anxiety, self-talks (lectures/rebukes), i know everything will work out. i will b ok. i am ok. I don't know how, what, or when but it will & as usual i pray i don't mess it up, like i do. Focus on Jesus, i kept hearing this morn. Focus on Jesus NOT on self. FOCUS. ON. JESUS. AND HIIIIIIS F.I.N.I.S.H.E.D. WORK & what THAT means!!!! Amen. Then i came across this msg ☺️. 🤗💜✝️🌄
How to know you are saved, Faith in the Word of God and the Truth of Him. He gave you His promises and eternal security in your salvation when you surrender to Jesus your Lord who has saved you.
Jesus is the word made flesh, he is truth, and he is the only way. Don’t be anxious that His word is incomplete or untrustworthy. But find rest in Him knowing He has declared you His Child
And given you His Spirit to make you born again

Forgive me if this is found later in the podcast, but what about the scriptural references from Peter about what Jesus did proclaiming to those who were dead and declaring victory while he was in the tomb. Body was dead but it seems scripture teaches He was Spiritually claiming victory and proclaiming the good news
I recently started watching the Spoken Gospel. I find it a bit disturbing to see the “Lord of the Ring” books sandwiched between two books “The Final Days of Jesus and Common Prayer on the end table on the right. Though a Christian theme may have been purposely woven into the writings of Tolkien, it still has wizards and witchcraft woven into the books also. For a podcast named “Spoken Gospel”, the Bible is what’s missing on this end table. Maybe because you cannot mix demonic inspired books with the Bible….Unsubscribing.
Interesting
Just like C.S. Lewis and his Chronicles of Narnia, so is J.R.R Tolkien and his Lord of the Rings. If something so insignificant can make you not want to support this ministry, then maybe you should check your heart and see if you're hindering yourself from truly being receptive to the word based on appearances alone; which you should know that God doesn't look at.
