I’ve bought 2 of these and they just stopped working - one within a month- the other within 2 days! Did you experience anything similar?

Would you please add the directions....I don't understand how to operate the timer and heat setting. Thanks!

Instructions. I find it online. I too didn't know. But it's said this 👇🏽
Make sure control connector is securely attached to the pad connector. Push both parts together for a tight fit. After control is connected to pad, to plug into 120V AC electical outlet. To turn the pad on, press the power button. Then select from 6 heat settings by heating setting button. 1 is lowest, 6 is highest. 1st press to increase the heating level. After heat level 6, press again, return to heat level 1. Then select from 6 timer settings by timer setting button, 1st press is timer setting level 1, repeatedly press to increase the timer level. After time level 6, press again, return to timer level 1. For the level indicator , the timer shows the timer level. After setting the timer, around 8-10 seconds later, the level indicator will be automatically changed back to heat level display. To turn the pad off, press the power button one more time, the heating pad and display will turn off. Do not sit or against or crush pad - avoid folding during use. Do not use while sleeping.

On the instruction papers does it say anywhere to NOT use on inverters?

I did not see any . Usually if using with an inverter you 1st plug in a grounded power strip and plug into that. Although I used this same equate heating pad plugged directly into a pure sine wave inverter 1500 watt and it worked fine. It must be a pure sine wave not modified.
