So im wondering if this might have to do with the fact that Travis had a huge crush on Kim first and he made it no secret, writing about her in his book AND allegedly kim and Travis did hook up. Honestly I wish I could say it’s so strange cause they’re in their forties acting like middle school girls but my brother is 33 and he still claims to hate me over me “being the favorite” when what he’s talking about was just like the first two years when you’re born and you’re still a baby so like you’re parents have to give you more attention but that quickly leveled out as we grew up and we were always treated equal but I’ve been paying for those 2 years for the past 27 and I seriously just have no idea what to do anymore. I’ve been his human punching bag my whole life. When I wanted a protective, sweet older brother, I got a mean, malicious bully. We’ve had multiple “heart to heart” talks and in the end he claims that we’re fine and we’ll have a relationship now yet he actively goes out of his way to hurt my feelings like not texting me on my birthday (literally a text is the bare minimum and he won’t do it) not coming to my sons birthday party, never once seeing my son at all (even tho we lived 30 minutes apart and he has an active role in our cousins kids lives), not coming to my wedding, completely ignoring me during the lat family Christmas party I attended before moving to a different country, etc many many times I could sit here forever just telling you stories of how horrible he’s been to me yet I still feel like if he changed I’d forgive him because once our parents are gone we literally have no other family and I feel like he truly doesn’t understand what that means. I think that kourt is in the more vulnerable position. She knows that she is less successful than Kim and is aware that everyone knows that. When Kourt got the chance to work with D&G she was very excited because she has never worked with ANY designers really (she’s the only sister who hasn’t been invited on her own merits to a met). I think Kourt wanted to use her wedding as an opportunity to grow a career in fashion, but Kim is the one who got that opportunity. I think Kourt thought that kim would be aware of her position and intentions without having to state them, and d&g who is trying to build back would take the chance to work with Kourtney IF kim turned them down. Kourt should have been more vulnerable to share her aspirations with others and Kim should be more aware of her influence and power. I think she didn’t care about Kylie because she is so much younger and have way varied opportunities due to the age difference
I’m watching season 4 in real time, and I think the resentment and jealousy and hate goes DEEP! If you think about it, Kim and Khloe begged Kourt to be involved in the show. Then when she did (or at least try) with her and travis content the audience didn’t like it 😂 And the family keeps Scott around too and kind of dismisses the abuse that scott inflicted on her. I think she is upset at her whole family but takes it out specifically on Kim… maybe because Kim gets more emotional support ?

As annoying and out of touch as Kourt is being, what it really is is that Kim has been with so many fashion brands and has been in so many campaigns. Kourtney feels like Dolce and Gabbana was her one thing she had that Kim didn’t.
Additionally, this was when Kim was with Balenciaga, so it makes sense that kourt wanted something of her own-her own fashion brand to work with. Her whole point is that the family is so rich, especially Kim, and there’s truly no reason to take every opportunity handed to you. Kim could’ve passed and avoided this whole thing, especially when she KNEW before it was even solidified that kourt might be upset. She took the deal anyway.
I was thinking while I was watching this and Kourtney keeps saying "I had to fight so hard to get them to open the archives" but I think if they already had the show planned before the wedding (like Kim says) then they would have decided before the wedding to use the 90s clothes for the show, and that's probably the reason they were hesitant to let Kourtney use them. I think that's why she had to fight for it, and I don't think they just saw her wedding and went "oh yeah let's base this show we already have planned on Kourtney but not actually use Kourtney". It was competitive, because their parents are narcissistic. Narcs pit their children against each other all the time, and it can take decades to detangle from that emotonal trauma. This is not about the wedding, or the clothes.
I didn't realize something until I watched The Crown, but when you have a lot of family members working in the same business (not that I'm comparing the Kardashians to royalty lol) they have some PR rules, like they don't appear at the big events on the same day as to not divert the spotlight from each other. Another extreme example is that a princess couldn't announce her engagement for a long period after the announcement of someone's pregnancy because it would pull the spotlight from them. I don't think it's too different here, especially when they work in the same fashion industry and with the same brand. I also think if they weren't in their 40s, and they weren't filmed for all of us to see, Kourtney could say to Kim what she wanted, and it was for her to step back for a moment and allow her to have a spotlight just for a bit more because she is rarely the most important person in their family, but she can't because she'll be marked as whinny and pathetic to ask that from her sister. What she wanted was for Kim to realize that by herself. It's fine being a workaholic and enjoying your work, but literally nothing would have happened to her brand and her earnings if she had just skipped this one thing. Kim is all for attention but as someone who has been watching them since the beginning I can say that kourtney is not easy to be around. It's like kourtney felt pushed or forced to do something she doesn't want to do. And Kim has that mentality of always wanting to succeed event it meant the success would mean that she shared that famous tape. Kourtney has that judgement towards Kim that she is a sellout and she thinks that she is better than Kim and she thinks that Kim does not really deserve the praise and the fame. They knew why the divorce was happening, but Kim was too young to really understand, and stood by their mother all of these years. Kourtney did understand that her mother had had an affair and wanted a divorce, because Kris said that she believed that “the grass is always greener on the other side”. Kourtney tried to talk to Kris about it all of these years, but Kris refused to listen to her. Kim took Kris’ side, because she didn’t understand why Kourtney was so upset about their mother. Now, Kris finally discussed it with Kim and Kourtney. Kourtney felt better after the talk, but Kim became mad at Kris. It’s a total role reversal! Drama! Always drama!
6:50 ehhh im going to say youre speaking on something you wont ever get the feeling of unless you are a woman with a sister. Its hard not having that competition with your sister because your parents, society, almost everyone is comparing the two of you. So i understand when she said that her and kim had that negative competitive energy between them because more eyes and opinions are being thrown their way. i dont think she is implying that she genuinely enjoys having friction with her sister. And saying kim is "winning" because her career is bigger than her sisters, or kourtneys winning because of her personal life, is pushing that competitive narrative that you just told Kourtney she needs to drop.
So, what I gathered about this whole situation between Kourtney & Kim is that Kourtney accused her sister of stealing her ideas she & her stylist curated 4 her wedding only to have Kim swoop in & strike up a deal w/ the fashion house, and take credit for Kourtney’s work & contribution 2 the 90’s style fashion show which was supposed to feature current fashions not 90’s. This type of curation is an actual job, & Kourtney did it for free w/ her stylist, & her & Travis paid 4 everything. Kourt said she did this bc she didn’t like the current fashion dolce and Cabanna was trying to dress her in. She liked the 90s styles better so she worked from that collection. Kim didn’t do anything except 4 show up & put her face on it & made money. She didn’t creative direct, & Kim’s stylist got all the credit 4 work that Kourtney & her stylist put in. It’s n the fashion show credits. So, Kourtney’s hurt bc she realized that Kim may have came to her wedding 4 dolce and Cabanna purposes, and not for her sister.
To be honest, I don't easily take whats presented in the show at face value because it could have been edited in favored of Kim. Considering how obsessive Kim is with her image, its not out of the question to take into consideration. People forget that this show isn't just a way for them to stay relevant, its also an extension of their PR. And if there's a choice to protect one family member's image vs Kim's, it will be Kim who is protected and shown in a better light, since she's the apparent 'leader' (according to Kris). As for their dynamic, I don't think necessarily a 'competitive' thing. I think the issues run deep and go way back. Kourt and Kim are just very different personalities that will always naturally clash, and both lack the communication skills to fully move past it. Both hold resentments, not just Kourt. The way Kim talks about Kourt when she's angry is very different from how she talks about her other sisters when she angry at them.

I feel like it's being normalized that Kim's a workaholic. She says so herself and in the latest episodes she's close to collapsing because she overworks herself. Workaholism is an addiction, guys! Just like alcoholism. Its a kind of running away from yourself and your deeper feelings. I think that's what Kourtney's getting at in their conversation. Although she didn't put it in a very nice or empathic way, I think she was right. Of course Kim should still work, but she has reached midlife, she is incredibly rich and she has 4 kids. Why not slow down and explore other parts of life? Like getting to know your inner self, taking it slow, being with your kids, focusing on other things than looks and career. That's also how you can grow and mature as a person.

I honestly think the D&G deal was offered to Kourtney first, she went to the met with their design, she dressed the wedding guests in it, did her wedding dress based her whole aesthetic going through the archives and Kim capitalized on it. sorry, late commenter here, but my sister & i are 5 years apart (she is older). when we were growing up, it was a constant battle of her feeling like i was copying her, or moving in on her space, vs. little me seeing as i was so inspired by her. now, she’s abt to be 33 & i’m 28, we live very different lives & i have the feelings of her copying my style/lifestyle & have to put myself back in those shoes of its not “copying,” but her being inspired, which is why in this specific situation, i am with kim 100%. but that’s just my take!

Honestly I wish I could say it’s so strange cause they’re in their forties acting like middle school girls but my brother is 33 and he still claims to hate me over me “being the favorite” when what he’s talking about was just like the first two years when you’re born and you’re still a baby so like you’re parents have to give you more attention but that quickly leveled out as we grew up and we were always treated equal but I’ve been paying for those 2 years for the past 27 and I seriously just have no idea what to do anymore. I’ve been his human punching bag my whole life. When I wanted a protective, sweet older brother, I got a mean, malicious bully. We’ve had multiple “heart to heart” talks and in the end he claims that we’re fine and we’ll have a relationship now yet he actively goes out of his way to hurt my feelings like not texting me on my birthday (literally a text is the bare minimum and he won’t do it) not coming to my sons birthday party, never once seeing my son at all (even tho we lived 30 minutes apart and he has an active role in our cousins kids lives), not coming to my wedding, completely ignoring me during the lat family Christmas party I attended before moving to a different country, etc many many times I could sit here forever just telling you stories of how horrible he’s been to me yet I still feel like if he changed I’d forgive him because once our parents are gone we literally have no other family and I feel like he truly doesn’t understand what that means. I think that kourt is in the more vulnerable position. She knows that she is less successful than Kim and is aware that everyone knows that. When Kourt got the chance to work with D&G she was very excited because she has never worked with ANY designers really (she’s the only sister who hasn’t been invited on her own merits to a met). I think Kourt wanted to use her wedding as an opportunity to grow a career in fashion, but Kim is the one who got that opportunity. I think Kourt thought that kim would be aware of her position and intentions without having to state them, and d&g who is trying to build back would take the chance to work with Kourtney IF kim turned them down. Kourt should have been more vulnerable to share her aspirations with others and Kim should be more aware of her influence and power.

As annoying and out of touch as Kourt is being, what it really is is that Kim has been with so many fashion brands and has been in so many campaigns. Kourtney feels like Dolce and Gabbana was her one thing she had that Kim didn’t.
Additionally, this was when Kim was with Balenciaga, so it makes sense that kourt wanted something of her own-her own fashion brand to work with. Her whole point is that the family is so rich, especially Kim, and there’s truly no reason to take every opportunity handed to you. Kim could’ve passed and avoided this whole thing, especially when she KNEW before it was even solidified that kourt might be upset. She took the deal anyway.

I was thinking while I was watching this and Kourtney keeps saying "I had to fight so hard to get them to open the archives" but I think if they already had the show planned before the wedding (like Kim says) then they would have decided before the wedding to use the 90s clothes for the show, and that's probably the reason they were hesitant to let Kourtney use them. I think that's why she had to fight for it, and I don't think they just saw her wedding and went "oh yeah let's base this show we already have planned on Kourtney but not actually use Kourtney". It was competitive, because their parents are narcissistic. Narcs pit their children against each other all the time, and it can take decades to detangle from that emotonal trauma. This is not about the wedding, or the clothes.
I didn't realize something until I watched The Crown, but when you have a lot of family members working in the same business (not that I'm comparing the Kardashians to royalty lol) they have some PR rules, like they don't appear at the big events on the same day as to not divert the spotlight from each other. Another extreme example is that a princess couldn't announce her engagement for a long period after the announcement of someone's pregnancy because it would pull the spotlight from them. I don't think it's too different here, especially when they work in the same fashion industry and with the same brand.
I also think if they weren't in their 40s, and they weren't filmed for all of us to see, Kourtney could say to Kim what she wanted, and it was for her to step back for a moment and allow her to have a spotlight just for a bit more because she is rarely the most important person in their family, but she can't because she'll be marked as whinny and pathetic to ask that from her sister. What she wanted was for Kim to realize that by herself.
It's fine being a workaholic and enjoying your work, but literally nothing would have happened to her brand and her earnings if she had just skipped this one thing. Let's not pretend that she'd never have a chance of doing anything similar ever again. She's fucking Kim Kardashian.

Kourtney and Kim’s problems go back to when Kris divorced their father. They knew why the divorce was happening, but Kim was too young to really understand, and stood by their mother all of these years. Kourtney did understand that her mother had had an affair and wanted a divorce, because Kris said that she believed that “the grass is always greener on the other side”. Kourtney tried to talk to Kris about it all of these years, but Kris refused to listen to her. Kim took Kris’ side, because she didn’t understand why Kourtney was so upset about their mother. Now, Kris finally discussed it with Kim and Kourtney. Kourtney felt better after the talk, but Kim became mad at Kris. It’s a total role reversal! Drama! Always drama!

6:50 ehhh im going to say youre speaking on something you wont ever get the feeling of unless you are a woman with a sister. Its hard not having that competition with your sister because your parents, society, almost everyone is comparing the two of you. So i understand when she said that her and kim had that negative competitive energy between them because more eyes and opinions are being thrown their way. i dont think she is implying that she genuinely enjoys having friction with her sister.
And saying kim is "winning" because her career is bigger than her sisters, or kourtneys winning because of her personal life, is pushing that competitive narrative that you just told Kourtney she needs to drop.

So, what I gathered about this whole situation between Kourtney & Kim is that Kourtney accused her sister of stealing her ideas she & her stylist curated 4 her wedding only to have Kim swoop in & strike up a deal w/ the fashion house, and take credit for Kourtney’s work & contribution 2 the 90’s style fashion show which was supposed to feature current fashions not 90’s. This type of curation is an actual job, & Kourtney did it for free w/ her stylist, & her & Travis paid 4 everything. Kourt said she did this bc she didn’t like the current fashion dolce and Cabanna was trying to dress her in. She liked the 90s styles better so she worked from that collection. Kim didn’t do anything except 4 show up & put her face on it & made money. She didn’t creative direct, & Kim’s stylist got all the credit 4 work that Kourtney & her stylist put in. It’s n the fashion show credits. So, Kourtney’s hurt bc she realized that Kim may have came to her wedding 4 dolce and Cabanna purposes, and not for her sister.
To be honest, I don't easily take whats presented in the show at face value because it could have been edited in favored of Kim. Considering how obsessive Kim is with her image, its not out of the question to take into consideration. People forget that this show isn't just a way for them to stay relevant, its also an extension of their PR. And if there's a choice to protect one family member's image vs Kim's, it will be Kim who is protected and shown in a better light, since she's the apparent 'leader' (according to Kris).
As for their dynamic, I don't think necessarily a 'competitive' thing. I think the issues run deep and go way back. Kourt and Kim are just very different personalities that will always naturally clash, and both lack the communication skills to fully move past it.
Both hold resentments, not just Kourt. The way Kim talks about Kourt when she's angry is very different from how she talks about her other sisters when she angry at them.

I feel like it's being normalized that Kim's a workaholic. She says so herself and in the latest episodes she's close to collapsing because she overworks herself. Workaholism is an addiction, guys! Just like alcoholism. Its a kind of running away from yourself and your deeper feelings. I think that's what Kourtney's getting at in their conversation. Although she didn't put it in a very nice or empathic way, I think she was right. Of course Kim should still work, but she has reached midlife, she is incredibly rich and she has 4 kids. Why not slow down and explore other parts of life? Like getting to know your inner self, taking it slow, being with your kids, focusing on other things than looks and career. That's also how you can grow and mature as a person.
These women act like they never got out of their teenage years. It’s so very immature. None of this ish matters!! Kourtney and Kim seem jealous of each other. I guess you can stay in those years if you’re extremely rich and self involved and think everything revolves around yourself. It’s so gross to watch!! Spoiled, rich teenagers in their 40’s!!
I honestly think the D&G deal was offered to Kourtney first, she went to the met with their design, she dressed the wedding guests in it, did her wedding dress based her whole aesthetic going through the archives and Kim capitalized on it.
If it's not that it's something they don't want to share. I think Kourtney should separate from them, it probably will be better for her in the long run.
I have trouble believing Kim. Also in the credits Kim is not credited as fashion director, but her stylist is. Veils WERE included, so does Kim have any say?
She's being hypocritical bc she's clearly upset over wedding country, wedding performer because why mention it. She threw a hissy fit over christmas lights. These issues of not copying each other re surface, they need to dig deeper.
Kim also does not seem happy for Kourtney and a lot of Kim headlines were coincidentally released around the time of Kourtney and Travis wedding, especially one where Travis liked Kim first, suspicious.

sorry, late commenter here, but my sister & i are 5 years apart (she is older). when we were growing up, it was a constant battle of her feeling like i was copying her, or moving in on her space, vs. little me seeing as i was so inspired by her. now, she’s abt to be 33 & i’m 28, we live very different lives & i have the feelings of her copying my style/lifestyle & have to put myself back in those shoes of its not “copying,” but her being inspired, which is why in this specific situation, i am with kim 100%. but that’s just my take!

Girl the only person unhappy is Kourtney. She’s always had resentment towards Kim beyond the wedding. She claims that Kim stole your idea, but in reality if she was truly as close to D&G like she claims, they would’ve picked kourtney to do the show and not kim but they didn’t and that’s why she’s mad. Kourtney complains constantly not wanting to be famous and live her “happy mom life” yet signs another contract for a show, starts another brand, and so on. If Kourtney was truly happy & her wedding was truly meaningful she wouldn’t give a shit about something that happened 6 months after it. Kourtney has always been awful to Kim, even in the earliest seasons. Khloe and Kourtney use to be mean to Kim all the time and because the public hates Kim the most for being superficial or fake or the sex tape or whatever stupid reason then they automatically take Kourtneys side in this fight when Kourtney is for sure wrong like anything Kim does is wrong in Kourtneys mind, she’s miserable.

Bella and Gigi even share the stage at times and they are more than happy to do it. it’s amazing to see their bond especially after seeing Yolanda try and pit them against each other. the Kardashians have always been waaay too focused on self-actualization and i think that’s why the whole family dynamic is in shambles rn. they talk a lot about being a tight-knit family but it doesn’t seem like they actually put the work in to bond outside of filming for the show. that would explain why they’re not nearly as close and personal as they used to be.
