Romper Room from about 1981 in NY
I remember the parents being in bleachers and when filming started they moved the bleachers behind curtains so the kids couldn't see them. I also remember Miss Mary Ann's long fingernails digging into my back when she was moving the kids around to our places. Luckily we had family friends back then who owned one of the first VCRs and were able to record this. Many years later I had the tapes digitized for all of eternity.
