The insignia of the Helghast is probably nothing else than a slightly modified emblem of the former Helghan Corporation (from which the ancestors of the Helghast, the criminals exiled to Helghan, came).
Indeed, along with a new game for PSVita, on which you can take any mission you want for both sides, because you're a mercenary. There'll also be killzone hd instead of the first killzone in the triology.

if anything its only in the idea stage. killzone 3 will not be out until at least mid to late 2010 and even then there will still probably be delays even up to mid 2011, so dont hold ur breath.
@TalonMercenary true, but the Helghast are originally (if I got it right) from Vekta, where they left to colonize Helghan. (I could be gravely mistaken, I apologize if that's the case). Whereas they see it as their right to retake Vekta, which they lived on (as fellow humans) several hundred years prior to the game. I'd not want to live on a poisonous planet while there exist a better option, we always try to improve our living condition. Although with that said, I do see your point :).

@Vash001 I thought the isa were defending planet earth in killzone 1 and in killzone 2 they finished the war by going to their planet. From what I heard in the game at times was isa tried to reach a peaceful manner with the helgans but the helgans kept arguing that isa started the war yet isa says helgans started the war. After a peaceful solution could not be solved war was the only option. At least that's what I thought happened.
killzone 1 is a good game and i downloaded the demo of killzone 2 and its verry nice game but the demo was so short i gonna buy this game on 27 febuary and i hope this gonna be one of the best ps3 shooters and online shooters on ps3

Basically how it works is this: The ISA colonized a system containing the planets Helgan and Vekta. The Helgast corporation was formed to manage the colonies and mineral deposits on Helgan. When the corporation's business practices endangered the ISA's economy, they forcibly shut down the corporation and forced it's people to live in the toxic environment of Helgan (which is why they where those suits). It's supposed to be a WWII analogy but the ISA went so much farther than the Allies ever did.
i mean now the hellghast have gone mad lol im waiting soooooooo much for killzone 3 and im praying that they make a hellgast campaign that would be cool
@18895Cobra well i'll take your word for it since i usually play killzone games for the gameplay and not the story. for me the story is the icing on the very very delicious cake XD.....fyi Its a metaphore I don't actually eat the game and think of killzone games as cake XD
