My everyday pen for a few years now has been the Zebra f-701. It's a click top pen, aluminum body, good pocket clip, and easy to find refills for and I've never had it deploy in my pocket. 🤠 Nice video. Cheers beers and whiskey 🤠
My picket pen of choice is the TWSBI mini. I like a small nib, no. 5 preferably. I also love my Sailor 1911 regular. I have a Zebra push button with one of those anti-gravity refills, so it doesn't leak and you can write on any surface or angle.
Great video, you convinced me to get the lamy safari a couple of weeks ago and since receiving it has been awesome. Even my girlfriend when she used was like “daamn this is smooth” since she never used a fountain pen before 😂 I even got the same charcoal one because it combines with one of my guitars
The pen that is always in my pocket is a Fisher Bullet Space Pen. It always writes and is easy to carry. It replaced my lighter 25 years ago when I gave up smoking. It is as close to EDC perfection as I have ever found.
"Best" is fairly subjective but i feel comfortable naming the Pilot e95s the best pocket FOUNTAIN pen. Everything else competing for a distant second place.
@@DylanAndLesliethey really aren't in my experience. It's been a daily cary for like a year for me, and it's survived more drops than I can count, numerous hiking trips and multiple trips though the washing machine. All that shows for it is a few dents and thin scratches in the metal cap.
My rotation currently is pilot kakuno, lamy safari, kaweco al sport and pilot decimo
All have their own characters and all of them are reliable pens!!
Excellent review. You brought up the problem of ink splattering in the cap, almost no one else speaks of this. Subscribed.

I like the Traveller's Brass Fountain Pen to which you can add a lariat for an EDC or Outdoor Travelling/Excursions.
The only pocket fountain pen I have is the brass Kaweco Lillyput.

Those feel too fragile to me… but I LOVE them

Not to mention the hundreds of still in top working condition of used pilot elites from the 70s that exists out there
Plus the extra fine version works extraordinarily well on shitty paper I have to write on at work from time to time
The Lamy is the best of this lot, but these are far from the best. Why are you pushing such bad pens?
