I lived in Asia for years due to work. Generally speaking, I found Asian women to be polite, often shy, and Asians in general to be friendly. They are certainly more social and outgoing on average than Westerners. They are very family oriented. But make no mistake, if they like the cut of your jib they can be tastefully direct in their approach to you. You are a big fish in their waters. @@FilipinoBride To be fair, during a 30 year career I traveled throughout much of Asia, and was a full time resident in Myanmar (Burma) and Indonesia. To my regret I have no personal experience in the Philippines. The Filipina maids I have encountered have all been very nice people. Asian women are raised very differently than western women. In my experience Asian ladies are taught by their mothers to be helpful and supportive, hard working and goal oriented. Husband and family come first.
I’m only commenting on my impressions firmed over the long haul. Those impressions were very favorable.

I appreciate Cebu more than Makati or Manila because it still has culture and charm. The cities I visited before settling in Cebu (the above-mentioned two cities) felt like I was still in Chicago. I want to experience a country for its differences. Also, being African American, I found Cebu to REALLY appreciate my differences. Especially since I burst negative stereotypes about black people. Before coming in philippines, i did not had good views about philippines people. but when i came and meet people in phil. Phil people are so loving and good hosts for foreigners. Do the Filipina's pay to be part of the festivities?
Our services are kind of like a good date, the guys pay @Danno_A_Jyd. All of this is built in to the the cost of the tour. The ladies are invited, and even occasionally have some of their travel expenses from the provinces offset. In Cebu, the minimum monthly wage is roughly $200. It just wouldn't be appropriate to ask the ladies to pay.

The problem with this is the age gap these older men will be worn down by these younger ladies their interests will be different and it won't take long for the ladies to get bored with them . These men should be looking for women no less than 40 years of age and their chance at happiness would double. All I'm seeing is a bunch of perverts at a candy shop and I'm 53 years old thinking about doing the same thing just not with women who just start becoming adults out of being children .
