- Time lapse of the second étape of the Camino Francés (full version). Starting in Roncesvalles and walking to Zubiri on a rainy and windy day with only little sunshine. Still feeling sore in the legs and back from the first étape over the Pyrenees, but the endless trails through the woods are absolutely lovely.
All étapes/videos to Santiago de Compostela are going to be uploaded over the next days and weeks.
After many journeys on the Camino de Santiago in the past ten years, this time the focus lies on the video project. Thus not a lot of stopping during the étapes (some breaks and encounters are cut out).
COVID-19: Filmed in the summer of 2020 when Spain and the camino including most albergues were open again for a few weeks after the first lockdown. Masks in all albergues, bars/restaurants and when crossing cities. There will likely never again be as few people on the camino as in summer of 2020.
Hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for watching and maybe see you on the camino one day :-)
BUEN CAMINO to you!
"Buen Camino"
I love this way and I am so so gratefull for all the people who are living alongside the Camino, making it possible, or all those who serve voluntarily, coming from all over the world. You are so great people who are loving us pilgrims more than we do at times.
A beautiful day - I remember being careful coming into Zubiri.
Yes!! The “ruts” were tough!!
Wow those tree tunnels look so beautiful!! So lush and green too!
Don`t they☺️ In the next étape to Pamplona there will be many such tunnels too but with sunlight shining through☀️☀️☀️
These are beautiful!! We walked the Camino between Sept 15-Oct 17. What an amazing experience, and these videos are such meaningful reminders of the beauty everywhere. Thank you for making and posting these!!
What a joy to hear, thank you so much!!
Amazing! You really have to be alert for the way markers on day 2. Plenty of variations in the path. Thank you for sharing your video. 💖
Thanks Juliet! Sometimes they are indeed a bit hard to find, but for the most part I think there are plenty markers and also the other pilgrims or locals will often show the way in case we take a wrong turn😄
Very Interesting Stage. High Speed !!!
Thank you very much!!
I love these videos, they’re fantastic. We are going back for 2nd Camino in a month, can’t wait.
What settings did you use for your GoPro and was it a shoulder mount? Thank you!!
I am italian and this year am going to do my twelfth Camino Francés. I do like very much yours videos full etape version. Please, please, go on with followiong legs: 6, 7, 8... I appreciate them so much, they are very useful to me.
Wow congratulations for these many caminos, what a joy. I feel the same, trying to go as much as possible. Thank you so much for your kind comments, very motivating!! I will upload all étapes but can only manage about 2 (hopefully 3 in the future) per week because they take something around 10h to finish with all versions etc. Trying my best to have a rhythm but so many things get in the way in a busy week😅
Thank you very much!! Buen Camino☀️
I Am Spanish and for your novel you can remember Domenico Laffi history.
Forza Italia🇮🇹 y Viva España🇪🇸🇪🇸
Buen Camino, "ultreia et suseia"
Buen Camino☀️
Are there road signs during the way? Or did you use GPS to not get lost?
There are many signs, especially on the Camino Francés. But when I filmend this, I had already walked the exact same way many times before and knew it well😄
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oops also, how long did it take you to walk from Roncesvalles to Zubiri?
This time a little less than 5h (since the whole étape is recorded I can see it in my video files😄). But here I walked almost straight through, in "normal years" without the video project I remember it took much longer with many nice little breaks and encounters.
@@CaminoTimeLapse ohh thank you!! I appreciate all these tidbits of information. And your videos!!
@@byrdsonawire Hey thank you so much for the feedback, makes my day 🎉😄
👍
OK~ I can see that now why you did not communicate with the other pilgrims when you filmed this video. This is not your very first time Camino.
