Liked the video a lot. Note that it is Blue-black Grassquit, not Blue-backed. Also, the Plumeleteer looks more like a Steely-vented Hummingbird (recently changed to Blue-vented H). The copper rump separating green back from dark blue tail and lack of rufous on wings is like Steely/Blue Vented
OOOPS!! I didn't even notice the typo until you said something - thanks! I'll try to correct that! Regarding the hummer, I actually thought it was a Steely-vented as well at first, but the large size bothered me, and then he showed me his very pink feet! :-)
Thanks, Elwood! Yeah, the toucans are easier in the moist lowlands a little further south than Guanacaste. If you're able to go to Carara NP, you might get them there!

Wonderful video, we're going to guanacaste next August, I'd love to see wild toucans but am lead to believe they're not common near the sea.
