Understand this Song is sung in Ragams Tilang and Shenchurutti also May be this Krithi was Composed in Raga Tilang
I think this krithi describes the event when Sri krishna comes home in the evening from vrindavan after grazing the cows. its describing his various activities and his form as he approaches his house. in the first line it says, "open the door"
this makes me think that the first line rAmakrSNaru means balarAma and kRSNa.... sice balarAma was also called rAma, in fact his first name is rAma.... and he had gone with sri kRSNa to graze the cows and the gopis are preparing to welcome both the brothers back home in the evening.
