I searched the whole internet but could not find anything. Finally, I found the solution... from a woman. Unbelievable. Thankssssssssss sooooooo muchhhhhhh!!!!!!
From a woman!!!! Are you for real. Women are actually quite capable you know...we can grow babies and everything. Most men don't even know how to work the washing machine!!
To Off Grid North Idaho, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. We have put up with very low water levels in our Samsung Front Loader. I followed your instructions and it is absolutely bloody perfect now! You are a dead set Legend! Thanks again from Lake Cathie Australia.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO!! It was very helpful. I adjusted the screw on an older Samsung front-loader a few years ago, but I couldn’t find the screw at first. I guess they don’t want us messing with it. If so, then why do they set it so ridiculously low. I can’t speak for how they’re set in the US, but here in the UAE it’s laughably miniscule.
Hi have you ever gotten a 4c code because the screw was completely turn to the right letting too much water into the machine. If so what did you do to remove the 4c code
This is clearly a woman who just wants her washing machine to wash the clothes and figured out how to make it happen. Then--in her infinite wisdom and generosity--she made a video to share the knowledge with other women who just want their washing machines to wash the clothes. I have tried everything--the 'best' cycles and soaps and STILL, l have been less than satisfied with my super fancy and pricey machine. I am positive once I execute this process that I will be way happier and finally satisfied with its performance. Thank you for sharing! **I wrote (and deleted) MANY responses to Trieu Pham Ly 👇🙄😂
I totally agree. The first "water efficient" washer I dealt with had me so angry and frustrated. There wasn't enough water to clean the clothing let alone rinse out the detergent. What continues to make me angry is this has been imposed by the government.
Oh yes, it worked great! We did it on that machine right after we bought it new, and it lasted quite a few years, with a TON of use (like 4-5 loads per day). Something else finally gave out, and the warranty gave us a brand new replacement, and I immediately did the same thing to it, hehe. It's still going strong back in our old house.
i turned mine a full turn, man that was alot of water, turned it back to half a turn and just right. About 20% more water, they say your clothes should be sitting in a puddle of water. On mine i could never see a puddle under em.
Thank you. Like you the connector to the housing broke off and it cracked in a couple of places but I have more water. I ordered a replacement to have as a backup.
I have the very same model washer you do (WF42H5000A). Have you run into the issue of the washer throwing error code LE or draining midway through the wash cycle only to refill right after? It happens to me if I adjust the water level anywhere past 1 and 1/2 turns past what's stock...
Blue housing is impossible to dismantle you may need Nipper Cutter to cut both sides to be open. And when you see Oange parts glue, just ignore that and get a Philips screw driver. For me i did 2 Half turn Clockwise.
Your washing machine is intended to explode and stop working 3-5 years so who cares. they are junk. I'm buying industrial grade next time. Not dealing with this again. Bought a $1K Samsung dryer broke in 2 years.
Turned my water pressure screw 3 turns when washer was new. Gets alot of water....half way up the door...BUT...the clothes get clean. I have to run on spin only now after regular wash.
This is modifying a manufacturer’s design, This is dangerous! When you change something like this, you have NO IDEA what else will be affected. (if you have to remove exterior panels to access something, then the manufacturer doesn’t want you to access it). One of the benefits of front loader machines is that they use less water and clean better. The machine shown with lots of suds is NOT BETTER. It will actually make poor washing results. On front loading washers, you must use HE (high efficiency) detergent. It does not make suds like that. Suds will cause a leak that is not truly a leak. The door seal can’t hold back suds. And no, this will not make it fill any faster or with any more pressure. (pressure and flow rate are different things and are unrelated to level which is measured by weight).
Nonsense. I tested this theory across four front loader washing machines... and using less water DOES NOT produce better washing results. It leaves your clothes smelly and full of detergent. Part of the proof is how manufacturers are trying to stop people from doing it (removing high water level options from menu or hiding the adjustment screw), it means lots of people are trying to do it, so there must be a reason (otherwise why waste water and money).

Seriously? Most brilliant innovations have come from women, dude. Behind every “great” man in the history of humanity stood a brilliant woman.
Circular saw ... invented by a woman, and she was left handed.

Manufacture take the choices from the consumer, but we can find ways, well done!!
Thank you very much, sister - this is exactly what I was looking for! ❤
You are the BEST!! My wife was wanting to purchase because it wasn’t putting out enough water!! Thanks!!
Thank u so much for this! My clothes actually get wet now!
I've always wondered how to do this! You literally saved me! Thanks for sharing!
You're so welcome!
Thanks for the explanation! and thanks to the videographer!
really easy and straightforward explanation. Thankk you!
Glad it was helpful!
I'm guessing we should unplug the washer before doing this. Thanks for the information!

Oh wow, THANK YOU! and yes, I had four little ones and was just sick of the laundry issues lol! 😀
I totally agree. The first "water efficient" washer I dealt with had me so angry and frustrated. There wasn't enough water to clean the clothing let alone rinse out the detergent. What continues to make me angry is this has been imposed by the government.
Did it work? I wonder if this is on most washers?🤔
I’ll have to check our machine and see! 🤣👍
Great job!

Okay i broke it😂😂😂ill keep going😂😂😂😂😂 thanks though you go girl. Theres a deep fill option button.
Oh nice! My oldie models didnt have that! Im back on grid for now, and house came with a regular tub style washer. I must say, i love it!
Thank you. Like you the connector to the housing broke off and it cracked in a couple of places but I have more water. I ordered a replacement to have as a backup.
@james bachour It did work for me. I don't know about there being two switches though.

Look at you go! Very cool. I wonder if all washers have a water regulator?
Thank you! I think they probably do, but I haven't ever pulled apart a top loader.
Blue housing is impossible to dismantle you may need Nipper Cutter to cut both sides to be open. And when you see Oange parts glue, just ignore that and get a Philips screw driver. For me i did 2 Half turn Clockwise.
I used mini eyeglass screw drivers and housing popped right off.
Once you take it off, drill a hole with a large drill bit so you always have access to it.
Which model number is this plz
Samsung front loader WF42H5000AW 4.2cf washing machine.
does this void warranty?
@james bachour it did, but it didnt add much water. it added a quarter gallon at most.

I wonder if this would make the machine not drain all the way.🤔
It never caused a problem with draining. I did this adjustment to two different washing machines. Hope this helps!
@@OffGridNorthIdaho Thanks
@james bachour I adjusted the water level and it worked fine.
Turned my water pressure screw 3 turns when washer was new. Gets alot of water....half way up the door...BUT...the clothes get clean. I have to run on spin only now after regular wash.
It works
Thanks Karen!

You buy a washer to clean ur clothes not to save the dam water
Blah blah blah. Interesting how you found this video though ….

I can give you more than one reason not to do what your are watching in this video
Ok, go.
