It’s crazy the amount of people you see on stifi videos saying how much positive vibes and good help their music has given them through times. It’s kind of emotional too thinking of the tough times the sticky lads have gone through as a band themselves. Happy to be a fan for over 7 years now of them!!

Man those lyrics are beautiful, it took me a really long time to make sense of them but now I can see the story that is being told. I love that about Sticky Finger's Music. Often times, I'll just listen for the soothing guitars and nice melodies at first, but then uncover so many more layers to every song.

Would you try and explain your perception of it? I'm struggling putting it together in my head, maybe because my mother tongue isnt english. I dont get the upper echelon for example ( I translated it but it makes no sense for me in the lyrics :D)

@@use31 I have interpreted the lyrics as telling multiple aspects of one story.
Life on the road, the bump of drugs that they took off of a phone (often you put lines on a phone to snort them due to the flat surface) which is part of the rock and roll lifestyle (watch them dance).
This "easy living" however can create a living nightmare, which is code for schizophrenic episodes I believe, when ones head is unclear.
Despite that, the narrator has found a new attitude, a calm, tempered wisdom (I am wise and stoned) that comes from age and experience.
This new attitude is about balance and sustainability (maybe I should take it slow) and learning to let go of the things we often hold onto too tightly (maybe I will never know).
This is just my interpretation though. I could be wrong, I have been before, often.
