The fact they're not from a big company and not doing "traditional" KPOP it's great to see the growth every CB. Dreamcatcher.... probably hands down the most criminally slept on girl group that is currently active. Officially (re-)debuted in 2016 and STILL not a single win to their record. Thankfully their hype is only growing and they do enjoy a cult following online. Speaking of which.... people should check out their official lightstick. It comes with its own complimentary cult robe! 😁😁 In terms of ID-ing the person you keep asking about, if it's the girl right at the beginning of the video with the blue hair, her name is Yoohyeon. I think she does some of the ad libs in this song, while the rest are done by Siyeon (the one with the short, blonde hair). Generally speaking, Siyeon does most of the ad libs (at least in their more recent songs) and she has a distinctively powerful, soaring voice. Also, in terms of Dreamcatcher songs to recommend.... the couple that stand out imo are Scream, Piri and especially Deja Vu.
They actually debuted in January 2017. Also I think the lightstick and robe are sold separately. Not everyone will want (or be able to afford) both. I could be wrong, though

So, in a way, we're both kinda right. 😛 As for the robe and lightstick, I wouldn't be surprised if they were also sold separately (or if the robes were a "limited edition" type deal). Just the announcement pictures always seemed to have them both together.

They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who incorporate Rock and Metal in their music, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And the girls are extremely hard working and super-likeable. Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and their online personas can take their life over. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I actually just came across your channel in the past day when I checked out your (G)I-dle Hwaa reaction and was hoping you'd discover my ult group soon, and boom, here we are. Subbed! There's already a lot of great suggestions for you from fellow InSomnia, who are a great, chill fandom - although there's a bit of frustration about no music show wins (about to be shut out for this comeback as well, sadly) or notable industry awards in their entire 4 years. I will echo fellow InSomnia that finishing up the Dystopia storyline is a logical place to start, followed by the Nightmare storyline, but I would also highly recommend (standalone track) Deja Vu ASAP. Also FYI, they have some of the greatest genre diversity in kpop, being as over two-thirds of their b-sides aren't rock (I've actually counted) and delve all over the map musically. I'd also highly recommend reacting to 2 extremely helpful guides (both from spring 2020 so 2 comebacks behind now, but the best there is currently in terms of 1 summary video): mera's Dodging Disbandment guide (hits the important points of their history as a group) & KraayJay's Ultimate guide (most of its time is spent detailing the members). However, you might want to hold off until you've completed both storylines since there's snippets of their title track MVs, unless you want to skip over those parts or aren't concerned about spoilers.

The fandom is called insomnia, in (english) + somnia (latin) = in dream. It's also a pun on their dark "scary" concept. They are amazing dancers and amazing singers with unique voices. They are very charismatic and amazing human beings. If you are interested in their vocals, you should react to their squire performance of Odd Eye, it's 100% live vocals without the dancing so you can pay attention to their voice, it's amazing how they can sound even better live

I'm a huge Once. Love TWICE to death. Have been an Once before becoming an InSomnia. Knew about Dreamcatcher since 2017 and knew about their failed Minx career, but I haven't decided to stan them until 2020. Dreamcatcher has surpassed my top favourite ult group TWICE and my second place Stray kids, now ranking as nr 1. I'm not ashamed hehe

Here's a simple description of each MVs from the 'Nightmare' series ⚠️Spoiler Alert⚠️ Fly High (prequel): Jiu caught a spider in the backyard, but Yoohyeon killed it with magnifying glass which caused all of them to get cursed one by one by the Spider and became a nightmare Chase Me: a ghost hunter (Spider lady's ally) came to find and trap Dreamcatcher inside the 'book' that linked to each nightmares that the girls represent, but failed Good Night: the ghost hunter managed to trapped SuA but the members saved her by burning the page of her nightmare from the book, then trapped the guy inside the mirror afterwards.. the girls then escaped from that place and dropped the book in the forest You And I: Dreamcatcher members living together in a new home, they opened a small photo studio and mess with people's dream/nightmare by using their pictures taken there. but one day a lady came for a photo (which happend to be the Spider lady) ,the Spider lady then transformed and attacked Yoohyeon who killed her as a revenge. Jiu who caught the Spider in 'Fly High' knew what's going on and try to save Yoohyeon who are currently trapped in another realm by performing ritual, but Yoohyeon didn't make it to the portal at the end, now she trapped alone What: the rest of the Dreamcatcher now living apart in modern era, but Yoohyeon always appeared in the dream of the members as if she's calling for help ,especially Jiu.. the members expressed their confusion and eager to overcome the nightmare in the lyrics PIRI (ending): while wandering around Yoohyeon found a Piri (flute in Korean) ,with a hope to reunite with her members again she then use the Piri as an SOS call. right after she blow the Piri ,all of the members are summoned and now entered Yoohyeon's realm ,but in order to meet Yoohyeon each of them have to overcome their nightmare trials.. the members then eventually reunited at the end, trapped together in the 'Nightmare' P.s - Dreamcatcher's Japanese MV 'Breaking Out' can be used as an alternative ending as well

In terms of ID-ing the person you keep asking about, if it's the girl right at the beginning of the video with the blue hair, her name is Yoohyeon. I think she does some of the ad libs in this song, while the rest are done by Siyeon (the one with the short, blonde hair). Generally speaking, Siyeon does most of the ad libs (at least in their more recent songs) and she has a distinctively powerful, soaring voice.
Also, in terms of Dreamcatcher songs to recommend.... the couple that stand out imo are Scream, Piri and especially Deja Vu.
They actually debuted in January 2017. Also I think the lightstick and robe are sold separately. Not everyone will want (or be able to afford) both. I could be wrong, though

They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And the girls are extremely hard working and super-likeable.
Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and their online personas can take their life over. There's already a lot of great suggestions for you from fellow InSomnia, who are a great, chill fandom - although there's a bit of frustration about no music show wins (about to be shut out for this comeback as well, sadly) or notable industry awards in their entire 4 years. I will echo fellow InSomnia that finishing up the Dystopia storyline is a logical place to start, followed by the Nightmare storyline, but I would also highly recommend (standalone track) Deja Vu ASAP. Also FYI, they have some of the greatest genre diversity in kpop, being as over two-thirds of their b-sides aren't rock (I've actually counted) and delve all over the map musically.
I'd also highly recommend reacting to 2 extremely helpful guides (both from spring 2020 so 2 comebacks behind now, but the best there is currently in terms of 1 summary video): mera's Dodging Disbandment guide (hits the important points of their history as a group) & KraayJay's Ultimate guide (most of its time is spent detailing the members). However, you might want to hold off until you've completed both storylines since there's snippets of their title track MVs, unless you want to skip over those parts or aren't concerned about spoilers.

⚠️Spoiler Alert⚠️
Fly High (prequel): Jiu caught a spider in the backyard, but Yoohyeon killed it with magnifying glass which caused all of them to get cursed one by one by the Spider and became a nightmare
Chase Me: a ghost hunter (Spider lady's ally) came to find and trap Dreamcatcher inside the 'book' that linked to each nightmares that the girls represent, but failed
Good Night: the ghost hunter managed to trapped SuA but the members saved her by burning the page of her nightmare from the book, then trapped the guy inside the mirror afterwards.. the girls then escaped from that place and dropped the book in the forest
You And I: Dreamcatcher members living together in a new home, they opened a small photo studio and mess with people's dream/nightmare by using their pictures taken there. but one day a lady came for a photo (which happend to be the Spider lady) ,the Spider lady then transformed and attacked Yoohyeon who killed her as a revenge. Jiu who caught the Spider in 'Fly High' knew what's going on and try to save Yoohyeon who are currently trapped in another realm by performing ritual, but Yoohyeon didn't make it to the portal at the end, now she trapped alone
What: the rest of the Dreamcatcher now living apart in modern era, but Yoohyeon always appeared in the dream of the members as if she's calling for help ,especially Jiu.. the members expressed their confusion and eager to overcome the nightmare in the lyrics
PIRI (ending): while wandering around Yoohyeon found a Piri (flute in Korean) ,with a hope to reunite with her members again she then use the Piri as an SOS call. right after she blow the Piri ,all of the members are summoned and now entered Yoohyeon's realm ,but in order to meet Yoohyeon each of them have to overcome their nightmare trials.. the members then eventually reunited at the end, trapped together in the 'Nightmare'

dreamcatcher \:D/ mashes all different genres together, generally but not always with rock/metal instrumentation. almost all of their songs are different but you can still tell that it's a dreamcatcher song. odd eye is the final part of their dystopia series which criticizes social media. scream and boca are the first two which addressed internet hate. odd eye is about how fake social media can be and how it can disillusion people, causing them to view reality with a false 'odd eye'.
