This was my first truck. I loved mine. Ended up flipping it a few times. I got in a fish tail going too fast around a curve on my way to base. Seatbelt was locked in place the whole way. Ended up saving my life. I put a flowmaster exhaust. blue under glow, chrome wheels. Complete rockford system with 3 ten inch subs behind the seat. So many great memories in my s -10. Seeing the interior brought them all back. Thank you for making this video.

Had a '98 for damned near 12 years. Put over 191K miles on it before it gave up the ghost. Got SO busy at work, I put 10K miles on it between oil changes. The threads on the drain plug eroded into the pan. Had to torque it off. By the grace of God it didn't break. Imagine a $7 plug vs. an $840 pan. Once it gave up the ghost, I didn't know whether to cry or poop my pants. So I did both.

I got one for $1k! 100,000miles at beginning of covid, no rust at all!
“Totaled”it yesterday 😭however there is only need for a bumper, hood, and radiator (maybe). Had no problems at all before then. Now tho I’m thinking about fixing it up, maybe some modifications. How did you like the truck?

Holy crap I can't get over how much damage the salt does over there, I've never seen a truck this new with a spec of rust, even the 1st gen S10's are rust free here.

In 2017 I bought my 2000 S10. I drove it for 2 years and had to put it in the shop because the motor was getting tired. I was adding one quart of oil a week and by May of 2919 I said "enough!" And I went in hock for a Hyundai Veloster and have had a longer than originally planned hiatus. In 2020 I thought of some other upgrades and this project has taken on a life of it's own. I plan upon finishing it by this summer. A new motor and other upgrades.
