If pomp and grandiose structures and big armies, length of rule are the criteria for Pharaoh’s to be included in the list then the builder of Taj Mahal - shah Jahan, the longest serving Mughal emperor with big armies - Aurangzeb, the sheikhs and emirs who built the eye catching and beautiful and tallest buildings should be included in the list.
And maybe Dracula - the impailer , should make to the list if brutal strength and iron fisted rule is the criteria.
However if laying foundation of bringing civility, humanism (equal in humanity), brotherhood, mercy and betterment of humanity, peace and more good on the planet that would transcend generations to come and make an impact on human race forever in the shortest time then, prophet Moses, Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohammed, Imam Ali would make to the list and imam Ali’s followers brought the Age of Enlightenment and science and golden age which brought in a change on the planet that later on colonialism destroyed by ‘divide, destroy people, culture and rule’ policy but the human race after wars as a result got back together forming the United Nations Organization that at least carried the spirit of Imam Ali and prophet Mohammed and prophet Moses and their influence and impact without being able to ratify and implement it well!
One should aspire for impact and bring a change that transcends their own time which is a real achievement and not just big buildings or long rule like that of Dracula, Hitler, Edi Amin, to get on to the list!
The criteria of the list, other than founding fathers of US constitution and few other good personalities, seems to me to be not meticulous and intelligent but based on pomp and hype!
Sometimes if leaders are ahead of their time and futuristic, it takes lot of time to realize their greatness by the masses and I believe Imam Ali’s greatness is also substantial for the ‘age of intellect, knowledge, information and intelligence’ which is almost at its peak now!
Cunning, treachery, deceit, killings, terrorizing activities and barbaric and similar activities and glorifying them by force and slave mentality was appreciated during the time of Pharaohs until the time of Imam ali, which changed after imam Ali and added to it the revolution at Karbala which acted as a augment-spark and kept the candle lighted and the following imams saved the message kept the light spreading for the world for good!
Together with these endeavors of prophets and imams, Jesus Christ’s gospel of love and spirituality brought in the great multitude to be receptive of the good values in the hearts of the people (including that ruled the White House as the founding fathers of the USA) without a throne or kingdom but just his Gospel!
I am not talking religion here but impact of personalities, including rulers, statesman as I don’t want to be prejudiced to people holding the title of priesthood, prophet, imam etc.
