@@TabletopShane thanks man!! I think I may see what I can do about putting them out as an actual published product at some point. I do think I may run them at GenCon next year, though. I think it’d be fun!!
So I tried this as a one -shot. A simple enough murder mystery, but it was hard to maintain suspicion on the various suspects. Some suspects are more suspicious than others (and Training Day was a popular movie, so the Scout Patrol was immediately honed in on)
@@ericpeterson8732 I’ve run into that a bit myself. Our party worked pretty quickly in our second session but I don’t find it’s too much of a problem if it only happens every now and then! It might be a good idea to try creating your NPCs without deciding who actually committed the crime until much later. It helps to make sure that their motivations are more compelling!
I'm such a mystery nerd and a whodunnit plot sounds amazing I would love to, if I ever become a DM, adapt my favorite murder mysteries into the campain. Problem is I've never tried DMing lol Thanks for the example on how to do this
I might add this idea to my conspiracy campaign Basically I'm gonna host a campaign (if I can find the players) where the players get to choose to either be invesigating a suspicious group or be group members who are trying to hide the clues, and this would makes sense as a way for them to be brought together, as well as to give some of the conspirators some people they can trust (the conspirators don't know who each other are to make things more interesting).
@@unavailableun love this idea for a campaign in general! Players already bring so much creativity to the table so why not let them add to the collective experience as well in that way!
@@ConstructedChaos thanks! It's also my first time properly GMing so I'm just hoping it all goes fine, I'm also using the GURPS system so my players are all rather new to it. Nothing could possibly go wrong.
We ABSOLUTELY want the pre-made adventures❤

There's been a murder and everyone suspects the Kenkus because puns.
@@paraschauhan1603 hehehehe this may or may not have been a plot point of one of the sessions I ran 😂

I'm really tempted to alter my Dragon Heist campaign to have a murder mystery...

@ I’m so happy you enjoyed it! I love making videos like these in between guides and live streams!
Wait - you’re not the bald, bearded DnD guy my feed usually suggests. Great video though!
Hahaha honored to be placed in the same category, though 😂
